Por algo llaman a Nessebar la "Perla del Mar Negro": es un tesoro de patrimonio cultural sin parangón en la costa búlgara. Pasee por sus antiguas callejuelas con su guía local y sienta que retrocede en el tiempo. Con una ubicación tan estratégica, Nessebar siempre ha sido un centro neurálgico para el comercio, y hace más de 2.500 años, aquí se inventó el dinero y se utilizó por primera vez para comerciar".Tras recogerle en Obzor, se dirigirá a Nessebar y comenzará con una visita guiada a pie por el casco antiguo, encajonado en una estrecha península que se adentra en el Mar Negro. Mientras pasea por callejuelas bordeadas de casas de madera colgantes, tropezará con antiguas iglesias bizantinas o ruinas de la Antigüedad clásica. Tal es la riqueza histórica de esta estrecha península que ha sido declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. En Nessebar hay testimonios que reflejan el progreso arquitectónico de toda la región de los Balcanes y el Mediterráneo Oriental.Su guía le explicará la historia y la cultura de la ciudad, donde algunos monumentos datan del siglo V, y le acompañará en su visita al interior ricamente decorado de la iglesia de San Esteban. Una vez admirados sus frescos, si ha elegido la opción de almuerzo incluido, se dirigirá a un restaurante para degustar un banquete de tres platos. Por la tarde, dispondrá de tiempo libre para explorar la ciudad por su cuenta.

Nessebar ist echt sehenswert. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Tag. Die geführte Tour mit der Kirchen besichtigen war super. Man hat genug Zeit auch alleine Nessebar zu erkunden. Ich würde es Empfehlen.

Katja ist ein sehr guter Guide. Die Führung war sehr interessant,hat ca 1 Std.gedauert, aber für den Preis zu teuer. Uns kam es wie eine Verkaufsfahrt vor. Mittagessen, Öl, Wein.... Wir würden es nicht mehr machen.

There wasn’t a great deal to see or do. The coach transfer was very good and I felt safe whilst on board. The guide was very knowledgable and helpful, but somethings are always lost in translation.

Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke good English. She looked after us well in terms of checking we were OK etc. Unfortunately she tried to use the opportunity to spread Russian propaganda about the war in Ukraine. This was not appreciated.

In unserem Bus waren 3 verschiedensprachige Gruppen. Als unser Guide durch das Mikro auf Deutsch etwas erzählt hat, hat die Dame, die die englischsprachige Führung durchgeführt hat, den Teilnehmern vor uns auch etwas erzählt. Daher war das, was unser Guide erzählt hat, nicht mehr verständlich. Die Führung in Nessebar war interessant und alles gut verständlich.

My travelling companion knew more about the biblical stories relating to the church than our guide. Whilst we appreciate the language barrier done the “facts” needed checking We did not like being taken to her choice of restaurant for lunch - much prefer to decide for our selves where we spend our money and when we tried to go our own way she was rude and told us we could go hungry. Then taken to a shop where it was clear she was on commission not fun being badgered to spend on unwanted items.

Dont bother wasting ur money. We spent over 450 pound on this tour for us all. It was for the full day. They sold it as a full day tour and will see so many churches etc. The guide gave us a tour in super fast mode. I think we lost half of the people in the group she was that fast. They only take you into one church the rest if you want to see them you have to pay for them. Then it says lunch included but no lunch. U are then free to spend the whole day spending all ur money.

The whole visit was a lovely day out. Hearing about all the history behind the peninsular and about the church's was informative for the local culture. The only part that was disappointing was the fact that the three course lunch advertised was not included so and was offered at an extra cost. Also not being informed that toilets were at a cost and there was only running water in the restaurant.

Lovely place and well worth a visit but just felt like we were slightly overlooked as there were only a few of us that were English.. The trip was a bit misleading and things weren’t quite what they were made out to be. It seems expensive for what you actually get. In hindsight I would have rather just paid to get a bus there and wander around ourselves.

We enjoyed the trip, the guide was very knowledgeable and spoke to us imparting her knowledge of Bulgaria throughout the journey there and back which was great. The walking tour was focused on the churches and religion, we visited a wine shop and had tasters and also a restaurant to try Bulgarian yoghurt. We then had free time to wander around Nessebar, left to discover this ourselves. It would have been useful to provide a little map of some information of what we could discover in the time.

Guide was really friendly and informative. Showed us all around the main sights of Nessebar. Would recommend that people taking this tour take water with them especially if a hot day as no opportunity during the first few escorted hours of the tour to get any refreshments.

I enjoyed the guided tour, the scenery while travelling, the information that was provided, and the pace of the tour, nothing too intense for people that may want to still take photos of anything around us. Nothing negative to report.

We could have travelled there ourselves far cheaper. The purpose of going as an excursion is to be guided. The guided tour was poor, very little knowledge or possibly unable to express it in English. The included meal was basic and not value for money either.

There was no air conditioning on the bus and it was extremely hot. The bus driver was not confident in his ability to drive the coach which made us extremely nervous. We asked the English speaking guide to speak up as we couldn't hear her but it made no difference. She seems a lovely lady but has a very softly spoken voice
