It's a tough-but-rewarding trek that'll take you across the tartan-like black and red-coloured lava fields, through pine-covered craters and up to volcanic rims.

Het uitzicht vanaf de vulkaanroute is prachtig. De gids was heel vriendelijk. Voor sportieve mensen een mooie uitdaging om dit te doen. Wat voor ons als een verrassing kwam, is dat dit geen wandeling maar een hike betreft van maar liefst 17 km. Dit hoorden wij de dag van te voren via de TUI reisleidster. Advies van ons: trek echt wandel- of bergschoenen aan en neem ruim water en zonnebrand mee!
