Surround yourself with the beauty of Ionian nature on this half-day cruise geared for children. You'll set sail for Marathonisi Island, anchoring up for swimming along the way, before gaining an insight into local conservation efforts. Kay, one of our guides, says, ‘We love to show everyone this beautiful place and maybe spot a turtle to understand why and how we protect our environment. It's a fun tour, which makes sustainability visible.'You'll cast off from Agios Sostis towards pine-clad Marathonisi Island in Laganas Bay. This uninhabited islet is nicknamed ‘Turtle Island' because its beaches are a favourite nesting site for loggerheads. Kids will love this one, too – there'll be activities aimed at teaching them more about turtle conservation. They'll also learn about respecting the island's environment, protecting it from litter.Next, you'll swing by the Oasis sea cave for a swim stop before heading closer to the island. We'll drop anchor once more for an extra dose of snorkelling. Remember to keep an eye on the water for signs of loggerhead turtles and dolphins. What's more, the boat has an integrated sewage drainage system, so nothing harms the sea.

Powinna byc informacja o zabraniu butów do wody, macie postaje przy pieknych zatoczkach z mozliwoscia doplyniecia do brzegu ale sa one kamieniste. Reszta na duzy plus.

i loved everything. the boar was clean, tidy and safe. and we managed to see the turtles. We couldnt hear the lady very well on the speaker. Also at the end they had a talk on the turtles which was also difficult to hear. better speakers and microphones

Very busy when being picked up to get the coach! Coach was late due to cars parking everywhere. We had 2 children with special needs and was quite overwhelming for them. But enjoyed seeing the turtles and feeding the fish.

An enjoyable 3 hour boat trip which travelled from Agios Sostis and around turtle island and the southern point of Keri, which included 2 swim stops. We were fortunate to see 2 turtles in Laganas bay. The boat and crew were very protective not to stress the turtles which some smaller boats did not follow the recommended guideline. TUI rep was very informative and a talk from volunteers from Apxeaon (Greek turtle protection)completed a lovely sunny Sunday morning

TUI rep tried to charge full price for our 1y9m twins, claiming they “round up” to 2 years—only corrected after calling her manager, no apology given. Onboard staff (not sure about captain) smoked weed and drank beer throughout the trip. This felt unsafe and highly unprofessional, especially for a family outing. Very disappointing experience overall.

We enjoyed the whole trip saw two turtles and enjoyed the swimming locations immensely. The snack bar could have been better stocked but overall it was fine. Would definitely do it again and highly recommend it.

Wat een aanfluiting. Ze hadden het beter boottocht met zwemstops kunnen noemen. 1 schilpad op afstand gezien en verder niks. Ook geen moeite gedaan om een schildpad te zoeken,geen extra stop bijvoorbeeld. We gingen gewoon verder met de boottocht met 2 zwemstops. Zonde van het geld want zwemmen in de zee hadden we ook op eigen gelegenheid kunnen doen en was met zeker geen 72 euro waard.

En plats med skugga där vi kunnat vänta på bussen. Vår buss var försenad pga trafiken när den skulle köra hem oss. Jobbigt särskilt för äldre och barn att stå och vänta i solen.

Saw that My Tours offered the trip for €24 and could have done same tour for cheaper. We booked TUI as we trusted the creditability of the brand and safety for such tours - but to see that we were just ushered off to another tour company and charged more for the privilege did annoy me a bit

The trip described stopping in the village keri to have free time however this did not happen and we had to make our way straight to the boat, as for the rest of the trip it was brilliant my only concern is that the second swim stop is not safe the first swim stop was fine however the second swim stop took place on the side of the island where alot of water sports take place meaning the sea is of course a lot rougher a lot of people struggled to make there way back and get back onto the boat

Linja-autossa olisimme kuulleet mieluusti heti matkan ohjelman ja menomatkan reitin aikoineen. Lähtö satamassa linja-autosta oli sekavaa. Laivamatka kaikkineen oli hyvä. Satamasta lähtö oli taas erittäin huonosti johdettu. Yksi opas ei yksinkertaisesti riitä. Lisäksi mieleen painettu bussin numero oli 206, eikä 306, mikä meille kerrottiin.

Der var ikke en plads til alle de betalende gæster hverken i bussen eller på båden. Turen var simpelthen oversolgt og det gjorde også at sikkerheden i bussen og på båden var lig 0. Ingen kunne høre guiden ombord og der lugtede af toilet/ menneskelort på hele sejlturen. Turen skulle have været en familietur/ børnevenlig men der var intet for børn. Vi vil bestemt ikke anbefale denne tur til nogle familier.

Billeder i app og båden var så absolut ik den samme ingen børne hjørne, ingen siddepladser ik engang nok siddepladser i bus. Ik børnevenlig overhovedet. Vi skulle selv ha tænkt på det men ellers god ide og sige man skal ha kontanter med.

De verwachting aan de voorkant beter managen. Het was een hele grote boot met veel mensen, dat was niet van te voren gezegd. Het voelt daardoor niet als een ontspannen boottochtje. Daarnaast als er een schildpad wordt gezien, blijft de boot daar aardig lang rondjes omheen draaien, met andere bootjes. Lijkt me niet heel goed voor de schildpadden en je ruikt daardoor de hele tijd diesel lucht. De uitleg van de gids was prima, maar vaak onverstaanbaar. Al met al ik zou dit niet boeken.

Laura the rep was very helpful and gave a lovely commentary with good information. Forgot the safety briefing- it’s important! We enjoyed the trip but chose not to swim which probably would have given us more enjoyment- but off the boat wasn’t good for us! Thank you

A little disappointed that the only turtle we saw was the show off semi tame one in the harbour. Obviously the wrong time of the year but that was our fault for not researching it. The commentary was a bit difficult to understand as the TUI reps accent was quite strong. The boat crew were very pleasant and very watchful when people were swimming. Overall an enjoy trip. Super spots for swimming.

Jammer genoeg alleen een Engelse reisleidster en wij moesten al om 7.20 klaar staan om te worden opgehaald duurde erg lang voordat de boot vertrok en maar 2x kunnen zwemmen wel 1 schildpad gespot maar die zwom in de haven en met al die bootjes op een gegeven moment dat werd hem/haar teveel

Bus transfer return was not very well organised and we had to wait a long time in the sun which wasn't great for kids. Konstantina was fantastic, totally made the experience worth it. She deserves a raise!

It was a nice trip. About a 20m coach ride to the pier where there was a turtle being fed by a local (for tips!). The boat was packed full and there was a TUI rep, although couldn’t hear a word she was saying over the engine! We saw a turtle for about 10secs as one of around 8 boats crowding round it. Then moved to a couple of scenic spots for 30m where you can jump in and swim to a shore. Stunning. Snacks available onboard for example Pringles and Nutella sticks for €6. It was a good trip’

Enjoyed the chance to swim in the sea and the views. The bad things were the toilet facilities, no lock, toilet roll and it was dirty. The guide could not be heard from the front of the boat so about 20 of us did not hear anything the entire boat ride as there was no space elsewhere. I didn't realise the one turtle we found would be hounded by 7 boats. I thought we would just see them from afar and observe them. I felt sorry for it rather than grateful to see one in the wild.

Enjoyed the trip, two snorkelling stops and plenty of time to take photos of the turtles on the way back. Need to be a confident swimmer, although we bought a life jacket for our child and there were little steps for them to safely get into the sea. Snacks and drinks on board were reasonably priced. Couldn’t really hear the tour guide over the speaker system but was given very clear instructions about coach transfer back to hotel. Would definitely recommend.

Pick up was great and in time. Guide joined us at pick up and explained everything. Cruise was lovely and a good length of time. We did manage to see turtles in the bay which was lovely and the captain turned the boat around so everyone got to see it (people did all rush to one side and the boat lent slightly!). Two good swimming stops though it was busy with other boats. If you have little ones I would take a floatation device even if they are good swimmers.

The trip was great. Picked up from the hotel and taken to the harbour. Decent sized boat, got to see turtles as we left and had great opportunity to go swimming a couple of times. Take a snorkel and also take some bread. Feeding the fish whilst swimming was great for the kids to see the fish so close
