El lago Bled es el epítome de la tranquilidad alpina. En esta excursión explorará este destino de postal, un escenario de cuento de hadas con aguas color esmeralda y un castillo con torreones enmarcado por los Alpes Julianos como telón de fondo. Mauro, uno de nuestros expertos guías locales, afirma: "El lago Bled está situado al pie de las montañas y alberga dos de los tesoros de Eslovenia: el castillo más antiguo del país se alza en lo alto del acantilado sobre el lago, mientras que en el centro del lago no puede perderse la única isla natural de Eslovenia".Eslovenia es fácilmente accesible desde Istria, y el viaje merece la pena. Las laderas cubiertas de pinos, los pintorescos chalés y el encantador islote boscoso con 99 escalones que conducen a la capilla de Santa María son irresistibles. Busque las tradicionales "pletna", embarcaciones de madera de la zona con fondo plano y normalmente remadas por un solo remero. Everything that we visited was good. The problem that I have is the time away, we were away for 15 hours, 12 hours on the coach and 3 hours visiting the place. It was all a complete rush which is bonkers given the time that we were away. It’s probably the most expensive bus ride I’ve ever had, to be honest the best part was the horse and carriage ride which cost another 70 euros. We had three buses, 2 drivers and 1guide, we spent 2 hours at a service station and 1 hour caught up in road works.

Lake Bled was stunning but we felt that the cost of the trip was far too much and not good value for money, the stops for toilets and coffee were basic motorway caffes who charged for toilet use, there was too much rushing and we would have forgone the castle visit in order to spend more time in lake Bled as it simply wasnt enough time..didnt have time to eat! Food and drink needs to be arranged and included in this trip. No food or drink allowed on the coach is not good as this was a 12hour jou

Lake Bled is worth seeing. It is a beautiful part of the world and makes the 4 hour journey to get there worth it. Unfortunately because it takes so long you get limited time at the castle and in Bled itself to explore, it all feels a little rushed. This is an expensive trip that doesn't include any food or drink or entrance to the church in the island. This is worth it if you enjoy the scenery and the chance to visit another country while you are in Croatia.

Our guide Mauro was very informative and although it was a long trip he kept it very interesting explaining about the area and its history, our driver Victtoro was also very pleasant. The trip was very well organised. Lake Bled and the Bled Castle and Slovenia itself are well worth the long day, and is a stunning area.Thank you.

This was a great day out for our little group. Our guide Mauro was extremely knowledgable about the history of Croatia and Slovenia. We were picked up at 7:25 and had 3 pick ups along the way and were very lucky with the roadworks in both directions. Highlights - Bled Castle and boat ride to the island. Also, as an extra, a horse drawn carriage trip round the lake for 70 euros but worth every cent. You’ll need to be fairly fit to get up the castle but the views totally worth it !

The guide was excellent. He instructed us where when pick up points drop off the itinerary. Coach broke down but guide had it all in hand!! Telling us what and when it was happening.

The day is very long, having to pick up from multiple hotels and then drop them back off again at the end of the day so in total it was around 15 hours. The guide was very informative and very lovely, but he did talk a lot. The entire drive from 07:25 right up until we were on the way back I don’t think there was a moment of silence so maybe bring some headphones, but it was all amazing. The most beautiful country I’ve ever visited and enjoyed every single part of it. Even the talking.

Lake bled was stunning but 8 hours in a coach round trip was too long. The additional pick ups made the journey at least two hours longer than necessary. Guide was outstanding and did a terrific job to make everything run smoothly.

Was a lot of travelling for what felt like a really rushed experience. Bled, the castle, and the lake are all beautiful - but we were not given sufficient time to experience it properly. From a 12 hr trip we had less than 4 hrs of actual experience - this trip would benefit from being a 2 day overnight experience

A wonderful day. Our day was particularly great due to the care and attention our guide Tin gave us. He shared his expert knowledge with us on the coach journey which gave us more free time and a better understanding of the area. No complaints at all.

Well organised & informative guide. Reasonable pick up time. Didn’t like long journey back. Guide said that there were always traffic problems near the border on Fridays so might it be a better if trip was scheduled for a different day?

Stunning vistas with Austrian influences. Amazing views of the Alps. Authentic boat ride across Lake Bled is a must. Vittoria and Mauro (Driver and Guide) couldn't wished for better. They were so friendly, thoughtful and entertaining.

Needed more time in the castle insufficient time to explore property. Beautiful stunning locations and views are exquisite. Guide was informative, helpful. Boat trip to the church was good. Two hours in the town of Bled was too long, this time should be spent in the castle. There is a lot of steps and steep incline on this tour. Well worth the journey time and nice to visit two countries in one holiday.

Very long journey there and back but the actual activity was great. Beautiful place, lake bled was amazing and the church in the middle of the lake was beautiful. The castle visit was also really great. Would recommend this trip if you don't mind a long journey. Scenery on the journey was stunning. Slovenia was beautiful

The guide Mauro (not sure of spelling) was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained with his wit. The driver (Alan? I think) made the drive very smooth and safe. Lake Bled is a definite must to do it is spectacular and well worth seeing even with the long drive there, plenty of bathroom stops as well. I would give this excursion 100 out 10 if that’s possible ?? ????????

The TUI rep on the tour was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The trip was a happy one and fun too. Everyone got on with everyone. All in all an fantastic trip. Only fault would be that lunch might have been included as the price was quite high and it was an all day trip leaving at 7:30 and not getting back to the hotel until 9pm. The hotel was very good and supplied us with a packed lunch but the price maybe should have included something to eat.

The whole visit was lovely. The scenery is stunning. Lake Bled is quite beautiful with water of the most exquisite colour. The information given by our guide was interesting. Very well organised visit.
