Guiado por especialistas marinos, tendrás una oportunidad única de presenciar el impacto humano en el arrecife y el blanqueamiento del coral. A esto le seguirá una detallada charla sobre medidas prácticas para la restauración del arrecife.
Zarparás cuando las aguas estén tranquilas y te aventurarás en dos arrecifes diferentes, cada uno de ellos decolorados debido al calentamiento global, a la contaminación del agua y a los microplásticos. Visita el arrecife conocido como «El Meco», que cuenta con los corales más jóvenes, lo que lo convierte en una atracción muy especial.
Los barcos utilizados para la excursión están certificados con la Bandera Azul del turismo sostenible, lo que garantiza que se ajusta a las prácticas ecológicas. Por el camino, también conocerás la fauna local y te comerás un riquísimo burrito mexicano.
Durante esta experiencia, sentirás la motivación de proteger estos ecosistemas marinos, que es el objetivo del proyecto Pristine Seas, patrocinado por National Geographic. Este proyecto ha realizado expediciones al banco Chinchorro, una parte importante del Sistema Arrecifal Mesoamericano. El trabajo de este proyecto subraya la relevancia de salvaguardar los entornos marinos de la influencia humana, protegiendo al mismo tiempo los últimos lugares salvajes de nuestros océanos.

The guide was very knowledgeable and engaging and tried to take us to see as much as possible but it was extremely rough in the sea. I’m a fairly good swimmer but found it hard going. Sea wasn’t that clear so visibility wasn’t great

Great day over all … but when being dropped off by bus there was no guidance or signs as to where to go and then it was carnage when you got to the check in for boats. The tui tour then took us upstairs for a presentation on the coral reefs. I enjoyed it, thought it would be done on the boat though. Burrito lunch was rubbish - it was a turkey & cheese wrap not burrito. Snorkelling was great - almost 2 hrs in water total. Guide was fantastic and boat was great. Loved the lounging as we sailed.

Interessante Schnorcheltour mit 2 anderen Teilnehmern- sehr gut. Meine Erwartungen zu den Informationen über den Erhalt und die Aufbauarbeit der Riffe wurde nicht erfüllt. Leider nur mit englischem-spanischem Guide. Die angesteuerten Schnorchelplätze waren sehr interessant und sehenswert.

The presentation was cut short as the projector stopped working. We were told that the reef is a symbiotic relationship between the coral building animals and zooxanthellae but not told why the reeds are under threat or how they get stressed. Once in the water it was very choppy and there was current and other groups so it was difficult to work out where we were supposed to be even with the leader shouting. The second stop was even rougher and current stronger. Not good for first time snorkelle

Abraham the guide was excellent and gave a fascinating talk on the coral reef and fish in the sea. Looked after us well on the boat and gave ongoing chats about turtles etc as we saw them. Well worth the money especially compared with cost of other excursions.

Das Betreuerteam war einfach super, haben sich top um alles gekümmert und bei Problemen sofort geholfen. Das war für die mehr als ein Job. Wir haben einiges sehen können (Schildkröten, verschiedene Fische, Schlange, Rochen). Alles war sehr gut organisiert. Über die Korallenbleiche und die Neuzucht hätten wir gerne noch mehr gewusst

Activité assez décevante si on s’attend à une activité pratique autour des récifs coralliens et leurs protection comme une nurserie de coraux par exemple. Au lieu de nous passer quelques slides de théorie, ça aurait été bien de voir ça en vrai. Activité avec peu de gens ce qui la rend un peu moins commerciale/touristique mais elle pourrait être plus axée sur la mise en pratique. Le timing prévu n’était pas correct, c’était une excursion de 10h et non 4-8h.

It was an excellent trip - a small group of 4 with the catamaran to ourselves and a guide and crew who couldn’t do empty make the trip enjoyable and a great experience. On booking I thought it seemed quite expensive but the length of the snorkelling time and the knowledge of the guide plus the facilities made it seem actually to be good value for all that was included

We had an amazing time swimming around the coral reef and exploring. The tour guide was very informal and they were ensuring we were safe throughout. Highly recommended and thank you for the experience.

It was a great day and the guides/crew were fantastic. People with young children may want to be aware the journey from Grand Coba is quite long as traffic and multiple pick ups. Over 2 hours each way. But comfortable.

The tour was amazing. We were fortunate that it was only my daughter and I on the catamaran, so we had our own guide, Abraham, who was very knowledgeable and took us specifically to see turtles as my daughter was desperate to see them. Captain ********** was very good with the boat and both were good fun. We saw some incredible stuff and learnt about the reefs. The only downside was that we were squeezed into a Westjet minibus for the return trip which was cramped and made frequent stops.

The trip from start to finish was excellent. Crew were really friendly and helpful and our reef guide was excellent - very knowledgeable, helpful and even took pictures and videos of the trip for us. This is a must if you love snorkelling!

Onduidelijkheid bij het afzetten waar we moesten zijn en wat we konden verwachten. Gods op boot was zeer goed Terugreis chauffeurveist niet waar de mensen Moesten worden afgezet. Hele discussies en meer dan een uur vertraging omdat de chauffeur Mensen gewoon ergens in de stad wilde droppen . Niet schuld chauffeur maar wel van de organisatie had door moeten krijgen wie hij het eerste af moet zetten en waar etc. Dus dit was erg onprettig eerlijk gezegd en veel mensen waren terecht kwaad.!
