Great
Loved the national park and the air conditioned van was great. It was just a lot of time spent in the car would have liked to have spent a little longer in the National park. Still recommend and worth doing though. Buffet lunch was included.

The seats on the mini bus were hard and a little worn they need to be comfortable for the long journey to and from the National Park The safari truck driver had an exemptional knowledge of the animals and birds in the park We saw lots of birds elephant and even managed a fleeting glimpse of a Leopard Over it was an enjoyable experience

Excellent
Door to door service to visit the Asian Elephant in their habitat. We spent lots of time making sure we went on an ethically maintained safari and this one was so good. The guides knew exactly where to take us and that proved key to seeing some of these amazing animals in the wild, they literally walk past you, and at one point they were all around us. Lots of other animals are pointed out including birds, crocodiles and monkeys. All in all a great experience that is a must see in Sri Lanka.

Great
Great day, you obviously have to get up very early and travel a fair distance from the hotel but it’s well worth it. The elephant safari and trip to the orphanage are the main parts of the day and they happen first thing - the rest of the day feels a little filler though. Also be aware that your safari driver will expect a tip, this took us by surprise as I needed to get cash out and had barely anything on me.

Quite a long transfer (2.5hr each way) but the driver was excellent. The park was great and we saw many elephants, a jackal and several bird species - the guide was great. Well worth getting to the park early. Our driver had got us our tickets for the elephant orphanage while we were in the park so we didn’t have to queue when we came back which was an added bonus. The buffet lunch was ok. Quite a costly day and an early start, but well worth it overall.

Long time in car most day travelling to get there and back then sitting in jeep. Go early as possible otherwise you hardly see any animals. Overall good trip.

It was a fantastic trip seeing the elephants up close was amazing. Knowledgable guides helped us see a range of animals that you would not spot. Great tome had by all.

Ajith was an excellent guide. The only slight disappointment was the lack of elephants - we only saw two on what is described as an elephant safari. We accept, however, that not even Tui has control over the movements of elephants!
