With some of the highlights of Kos wrapped up in one day out, this adults-only tour showcases the variety of the island. Together with your guide you'll explore Kos town, the Asclepeion ancient site and the village of Zia. A visit to a wine factory and a viewpoint round off the day. Sophia, one of our expert local guides, says "the Asclepeion of Kos was dedicated to Asclepius, the Greek god of healing and medicine, and it was known as a healing sanctuary in ancient times. The peaceful surroundings and the extensive gardens were soothing for patients."Start off with a guided visit to Kos town and its eye-catching harbour with bobbing boats lined up. Next, step back in time at ancient Asclepeion, which remains one of Greece's most important archaeological sites. Here, you'll have free time to explore and imagine Hippocrates, who was born on the island of Kos, undergoing his medical education at the Asclepeion. Among the attractions are the remains of the world's first hospital, where doctors learned about medicine from Hippocrates, and studied how to treat disease. You'll also visit the mountain village of Zia, which sprawls beneath Mount Dikaios and is best known for traditional architecture and wonderful views of the coast. After lunch in a typical restaurant, it's on to taste local wine at a wine factory, and honey in a honey factory. Then, at the end of the excursion, you have the chance to capture amazing photos at Kefalos village at the south part of the island.

Wir haben den Ausflug gebucht um einen Eindruck über die Insel zu bekommen. Bei Buchung haben wir extra gefragt, ob die Stadt Kefalos besucht wird(wollten wir unbedingt). Leider haben wir dann erst während der Busfahrt erfahren, dass es nur einen kurzen Stopp für ein Foto oberhalb gibt. Sehr schade. Weiter war der Tag sehr vollgepackt mit meiner Meinung gab es zu viele Stationen und war ganz schön teuer. Das Mittagessen in dem Bergdorf war sehr gut und reichlich (Getränke dort waren extra).

Our guide Mariel was very good, unfortunately we had A LOT of issues with the headsets, where we couldn't hear what she was saying. She told us a great deal of information about Kos Town, but by the time we reached The Square, our free time was very limited, we managed to visit one shop, get a very quick drink and then rush back to the coach. But the rest of the stops had enough free time. We had a lovely lunch in Zia, before heading off to to the wine tasting and the honey farm.

Überschaubare Insel mit sehr schönem Flair. Zu wenig Sonnenliegen am Pool.Vorschlag am Minigolf Platz nutzen.Animation und Rezeption sprechen wenig oder gar kein Deutsch.Sehr freundliches Personal.Vielseitige Essensauswahl .Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber,und es werden Getränkte immer aufgefüllt.Die angezeigten Fernseh -Programme stimmen nicht.

Unsere Reiseleitung Toula war super, sie hat uns die Geschichte und die Mythologie von Griechenland und auch speziell Kos mit ihren fundierten Wissen und Humor sehr nahe gebracht. Leider war zwischen den Stationen viel zu wenig Zeit eingeplant. Wir hätten gerne in der Markthalle, in Zia und bei der Weinverkostung mehr Aufenthalt benötigt. Den Fotostop in Kefalos könnte man getrost weglassen.

All inclusive but they use the cheapest, watered down products. Drains in the room was blocked and stunk the room out all week. The room we was advertised was not the room we received, two single beds the electric kept cutting out and needed to be reset. The showers only went up to your chest so you had to squat to wash, “private swim up pool with inland view” lies shared with a view of other guests front door. Pool had peanut wrappers floating in it and you wasn’t allowed to use ubtil 10am

Wij hadden een goede Nederlands sprekende gids, die veel kon vertellen over de geschiedenis van Kos stad en het eiland Kos. Ook bij het Asclepeion hele duidelijke uitleg en iPad begeleiding. Heerlijke wijn proeferij met ook uitleg hoe het gemaakt werd en voortreffelijke lunch in Zia. De honingproeferij vonden wij iets minder. Was echt lopende band werk. Wel ook uitleg gekregen over hoe het verkregen werd. Top dag gehad

Preis Leistung passt leider überhaupt nicht. Aufenthalt Asklepion war leider viel zu lang, die Zeit fehlte im Nachhinein bei der Wein und Honig Verkostung. Sowohl bei der Wein und Honig Verkostung hatte man nur 10 min Aufenthalt. Des Weiteren erfolgte nur eine kurze Erklärung durch den Guide. Leider sehr unzufrieden stellend.

Eine sehr informative Tour mit vielen Highlights. Wir haben sehr viel über die Insel erfahren. Das Essen war ok. Allerdings wurden wir ziemlich durch die einzelnen Haltepunkte durchgejagt und man hatte wenig Zeit die einzelnen Dörfchen zu besuchen. Die Dame die uns begleitet hat wusste sehr viel zu erzählen.

De oortjes zijn perfect. De wijnproeverij is echt waardeloos. Haal maar uit het programma. De honingproeverij was oké. De fotostop p het eind en dan weer terug naar de plek van de honingproeverij is verspuldey rood. Niet eens een mooi viewpoint. Doe bij de lunch de drankjes inclusief. De gids vertelde veel maar maakte totaal geen contact met de groep De Engelse gids was veel leuker. Ze was echt een oude ziurpruim geen humor bij,

Trips very good and the guides were extremely informative and knowledgeable. The resort is excellent. My partner would prefer more English food selection but she is extremely fussy. Food that has been dropped on the floor can cause an accident. My partner slipped on potato chips. The waiters are very helpful and polite.

De informatie van de reisleidster was interesant en fijn dat je oortjes kreeg zodat het goed te volgen was De wijnproeverij was vonden wij te gehaast opgezet Je kon wel wijn proeven maar het was fijner geweest dat hier wat meer tijd voor geweest was Je was binnen een half uur weer in de bus Dit geld ook voor de honingproeverij daar was te tijd nog korter Dus op beide locaties de excursie wat uitbreiden ( want ze zijn beide interessant) dan zou het prima geweest zijn

De rondleiding op zich was goed. De lunch was heel goed. Alleen de tijden de je vrij had vond ik erg kort bij de wijnproeverij en bij de imker hadden we weinig tijd en dat vonden we heel jammer. En winkelen in Kos was ook 30 minuten dat is heel kort. Verder de reis ws mooi en hebben veel gezien.

Reiseleiterin Monika: Sehr gut vorbereitet, hatte ein enormes Wissen, außerdem hilfsbereit, freundlich und auskunftsfreudig bei auftretenden Fragen. Ein wenig off-topic: Teilnehmer erschienen teilweise mit Pantoffeln, obwohl ausdrücklich festes Schuhwerk empfohlen war, eine andere Person jammerte im Asklepion und angesichts von fünf Stufen permanent über Knieschmerzen, während der Ehemann unbekümmert vorauslief; mind. zwei Personen hatten so starken Husten, dass man sich im Bus wegsetzen musste.

The English guide was really enthousiastic and knew a lot of stories and to tell about everything. I loved hearing the stories about the Greek mythology. The stops were quite short, but I think it was enough to see and experience everything without being bored! The lunch was great and the wine/honey we tasted was lovely.

Brilliant trip, great way to get to know more about the island and it's history. The guide, Milonis, was utterly fantastic. I've never learnt so much on an excursion before, he was very funny and made everything interesting. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to learn more about Kos. Wine tasting and honey tasting were great too.

Would have liked a little more time in Kos town Although the honey was nice was very in and out The Asklepios was very interesting, tour guide had excellent knowledge and the 3D iPads were great to give better context to the experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun and very helpful and our bus driver was amazing on some of those very small roads

Ein sehr gelungener Ausflug Auch der stop an der Imkerei war sehr schön Schöne Produkte gibt es nicht überall Wein Probe auch sehr schön und gute Weine Diesen Ausflug sollte man gemacht haben Auch Monika unser Guide konnte viel über die Ziele erzählen Hat uns sehr viel Spaß gebracht ??

In Kos Stadt und im Asklipion (beides sehr empfehlenswert!) war viel zu wenig Zeit eingeplant. Unsere Reiseführerin war exzellent und hat uns das maximale an Information in dem straffen Programm gegeben. Zia ist nur eine Aneinandereihung von Verkaufsständen. Der Ort hat uns etwas enttäuscht. Auf die Weinverkostung hätte man verzichten können. Die Honigfarm war, vor allem auch wegen der dort lebenden Esel, am Ende ein netter Abschluss.

La guide était très bien et expliquait bien. Le chauffeur était prudent et attentionné. Le repas était bon. ********** dégustation de vins et de miels. Le car est arrivé en ********** (+/- 45 minutes) les sièges étaient inconfortables et les ceintures de sécurité absentes ou difficiles à débloquer. A cause de ce ********** nous avons dû aller plus vite en fin de journée.

Man hat mich nicht mitgenommen. Deswegen kann ich nichts zu der Tour selbst sagen, aber ich finde es absolut gemein nicht mal anzurufen, obwohl ich auch meine Telefonnummer angeben musste. Wofür? Hat doch eh keinen interessiert wo ich bin. Und immerhin hat die Tour 100 euro gekostet. Ich war kurz vorher nur noch einem kurz auf der Toilette. Bei Getyourguide, wird man zum Beispiel angerufen. Lässt man seine Kunden etwas auch mitten in der Tour stehen, wenn mal jemand zu lange braucht?

We enjoyed the hotel, the restaurant staff are very attentive and professional, the restaurant manager is extremely friendly and an excellent host, would not have been the same without him. The cleaning is excellent. The two extra meals we had, one was free and the other was 60 euros, were both excellent. The only problem we had, the safe in our room, 4109, did not work, the outside light above the front door did not work. We sent 3 messages on the app asking for assistance and no one came.

Bij de honing fabriek was de groep te groot en het ging zo snel dat wij nog niet eens binnen waren of de uitleg was al gegeven en ging men verder met de rondleiding dus veel gemist. Lunch was wel heel goed verzorgd. Het werken met de oortjes is matig, als de gids in de bus gaat communiceren met de chauffeur of de andere gids hebben wij dit als storend ervaren. De gids Danay was bazig soms streng.

Alles war stimmig und perfekt organisiert, nur beim Catering auf dem Schiff kam die Qualität der Speisen nicht an die super Qualität der gesamten Leistung heran. Ich würde immer wieder mit der TUI meine Ausflüge unternehmen. Danke

Reiseleiterin sprach sehr schnell, verständlich und sehr informativ. Die Stadtpause von 1 Stunde sollte kürzer bis überhaupt nicht stattfinden. Da man mit dem Bus günstig und schnell selber einen Stadtausflug planen kann. Das Essen war nicht sehr herausragend, doch die schöne Aussicht unbezahlbar. Ein sehr schöner Ausflug. Wenn man die Stunde Stadt streicht wäre es entspannter und man könnte den Tempel länger genießen.

Leuke excursies en goede gids, die veel over de geschiedenis van Kos/Griekenland vertelde. Jammer dat we te weinig tijd kregen (30 minuten) bij Asklepion om het goed te bekijken i.c.m. de tablet. De honingproeverij werd uitgelegd door de gids, maar het proeven ging snel, snel.... waardoor je daarna in de shop gelijk kon kopen.

Man bekam einen guten Überblick über die Insel, daher ist die Fahrt besonders in den ersten Urlaubstagen als Einstieg zu empfehlen. Die Reiseleiterin war sehr freundlich und gab viele Infos zu Land und Leuten. Die kurze Weinprobe war in Ordnung. Man konnte- musste aber nichts kaufen. Die Honigverkostung könnte entfallen. Das Mittagessen war super. Insgesamt Preis-Leistung angemessen.

Zeitweise (7 von 10 Tagen) sehr starke Geruchsbelästigung in unserem Zimmer (und nach Rückfrage auch in den Nachbarzimmern), Rezeption nur am Abreisetag mit einem deutsch sprechenden Mitarbeiter besetzt (obwohl die Rezeption als deutschsprachig beworben wird)

Guide francophone parfaite. Visite de Kos et de l'Ascepion parfait mais par contre repas très médiocre pas du tout nourriture locale! Dégustation de vin et de miel laisse à désirer : beaucoup trop rapide!

War eine interessante Einblick in das Land kos. Die Mitarbeiter von Tui haben es richtig gut vermittelt wie es früher es einmal war. Die Weinverkostung und Honig Verkostung war aus meiner Sicht aus eine zu schnelle abfertigung. Aber ansonsten war es ein schöner Tag.

Bei einer 1,5 h Führung durch Kos Stadt hätte ich gerne mehr Input erhalten und brauche keine 45 min für Souvenirshops. Im Asklepeion habe ich zwar ein Tablet erhalten jedoch keine Infos bzgl Handling und bei einer deutschsprachigen Gruppe war es auf Englisch eingestellt Sowohl bei der Weinverkostung als auch beim Honig war die Erklärung nur bedingt aufschlussreich .
