You'll return to Bucharest in the evening after a day filled with rich traditions, history, architecture, and medieval legends.Your journey begins in the charming mountain town of Sinaia, home to the enchanting Peles Castle. This stunning masterpiece of German New-Renaissance architecture was the summer residence of Romania's first king, Carol I. Built in the late 19th century, Peles Castle was the first European castle entirely powered by electrical current and still preserves its original lavish interiors. It's considered one of Europe's most beautiful palaces, nestled amidst lush forested slopes.Next, you will drive through the scenic Carpathians to reach the iconic Bran Castle, famously associated with the legend of Dracula and Vlad the Impaler. This 14th-century fortress, perched on a rocky cliff, is steeped in mystery and medieval history. Wander its narrow stairways and explore around 60 timber rooms connected by underground passages, all surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. The castle once marked the strategic border between Transylvania and Wallachia.

Peles Castle is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. On these days, you'll enjoy a guided visit to the gardens and admire the castle's exterior
