Il Caminito del Rey è uno dei sentieri più suggestivi della Spagna, un percorso panoramico nell'entroterra della Costa del Sol. Questa escursione attraverso il leggendario percorso nella Valle del Guadalhorce è un'esperienza che non dimenticherete facilmente. Attraverserete la Gola di Gaitanes e conoscerete le formazioni geologiche uniche di questo paesaggio impressionante.Dal quartiere dei laghi di Malaga, partirete a piedi per la Gola di Gaitanes, il canyon scavato nella roccia dal fiume Guadalhorce. Passeggiate lungo una passerella recentemente ristrutturata, situata sulla parete a strapiombo della gola, che in alcuni punti è profonda quasi 700 metri e larga solo 10 metri.Questa passerella fu costruita un secolo fa e fu chiamata Caminito del Rey, in onore del re Alfonso XIII, che la inaugurò ufficialmente. La guida vi illustrerà le formazioni rocciose e le impressionanti opere di ingegneria.

Enjoyed the Caminito Del Rey as the walk was excellent but the amount of time spent on the coach and walking around a village beforehand that had nothing to see ( 2.15 hrs) was actually longer than the walk.

Fantastic experience - breathtaking views and well worth it. From a negative point of view, little value from our ‘guides’ and the experience was soured by the return transfer which took 2 hours 40 mins with the coach inexplicably going to Marbella for the first drop off before coming back in ‘reverse order’ towards Malaga.

Brilliant day out. Guides were very friendly and helpful. The tour is not for the faint heartened and a challenge if you have mobility issues but well worth every penny and the sore legs.

Hotel pick up tortuos, took nearly two hours. Told we had 2 hours to do the walk, when queried raised to 2.5 - trip details state 3 hours. The other excursion groups had onsite guides who stopped at various locations giving information, we had none of this. Difficult to plan speed of walk with no gu
