Oltre a immergervi nella Grecia, questo viaggio vi permette di restituire qualcosa all'isola di Skiathos. Tra i punti salienti vi sono la visita al rifugio per cani dell'isola, una passeggiata guidata sulle colline e una dimostrazione di cucina greca da parte di un abitante del villaggio di Agia Paraskevi.All'inizio della giornata, visiterete il famoso rifugio per cani di Skiathos, sulle colline sopra Troulos. Trascorrerete del tempo al rifugio e vi unirete alla nostra guida per una passeggiata di un'ora tra le colline. Poi si prosegue verso la casa di Maria ad Agia Paraskevi. Maria è nata e cresciuta a Skiathos ed è appassionata di cucina. Tutti i suoi piatti sono stati tramandati di generazione in generazione.Una volta cucinato il cibo, potrete gustare un gustoso banchetto tradizionale greco. Il pranzo sarà servito con vino, bibite e acqua.

The trip lasted 6 hrs in total you need to give exact timings not just say it’s 1/2 a day , also no toilets at the dog sanctuary customers need to be informed of this , Maria gave an excellent cookery demonstration and Micheal the guide was entertaining !! And overall we had a good day , !!

Loved the dog rescue Sorry to say the walk from the coach to the cookery demonstration was very difficult as I have mobility issues, it was 15mins in the mid day sun! I was given a lift back by the lovely Marie’s son. The demonstration was really good and her food gorgeous.

Would have been nicer to walk the dogs a little longer or taken another one out. Staff were wonderful and friendly. Cooking experience and lunch were very interesting and tasty, fantastic setting too. The guide, Michael, was an absolute gem. He kept everyone entertained and was very funny and extremely nice.

It was lovely to see the dogs and take them for a walk. The cookery demonstration was very good and easy to follow. The food that we were given was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Our transfer was late picking us up however the guide was apologetic about this. He was very informative and funny. The dog shelter was amazing, the staff are very professional and the dogs are very well looked after. Lunch at Maria's was lovely and we really enjoyed being shown how to make certain dishes. My only criticism was the dog walk was a bit short however we have a dog and are used to long walks so this is just personal preference as the walk needs to suit the dogs and all customers

All went very smoothly. We loved seeing the dogs and taking them for a walk. Maria's cooking demonstration was very easy to follow and informative and she made the food seem mouthwatering The following meal of food cooked was a very good idea and was delicious.

This was a great day helping at a local charity with a practical activity and the afternoon learning about Greek cooking. The bus was an hour late arriving so not so good

we would like to have taken the dogs for a longer walk and had a copy of the group photograph taken by the Dog Shelter staff The cookery demonstration was excellent as was the lunch.

The whole trip was excellent and the walking of the dogs and visiting the dog sanctuary was a treat. The greek cookery class and food phase of the trip was also excellent.

The experience was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The dogs were gorgeous. Everything was so well organised. The lunch afterwards was delicious. It was fascinating watching how it was prepared. The best day of our holiday!

Enjoyed it all. Loved the time with the dogs and being able to go in with them and get to know them . The girls were really helpful and friendly. The cookery demonstration was so interesting and inspiring and the food was delicious. It was nice to do something different and immerse into the culture

Trip to the dog shelter was a lovely experience but it should be made clear that a reasonable level of mobility is needed for both the dog walk and further walk from the bus to the restaurant. The cooking demo and lunch was well done, generous portions of food and drink and enjoyed mixing with other guests
