Farete un salto indietro nel tempo passeggiando tra le rovine del Teatro Romano.

Cosa aspettarsi
Il centro storico di Malaga è il protagonista di questo tour a piedi di mezza giornata di Sites & Bites. Vi fermerete ai principali luoghi d'interesse della città, ascolterete la loro storia dalla vostra guida e avrete un assaggio della scena culinaria di questo luogo. La prima tappa è il Castello di Gibralfaro, una fortezza storica un tempo parte fondamentale della strategia di difesa della città. Una volta arrivati quassù, capirete perché era così importante: la vista che si gode da quassù abbraccia l'intera città, il suo porto e il Mar Mediterraneo.Poi salirete in autobus nel centro della città per una visita guidata dei principali luoghi di interesse di Malaga. Fermatevi all'Alcazaba di Malaga, una fortezza moresca dell'XI secolo, e alle rovine del Teatro Romano, risalente al I secolo a.C.. Successivamente, passeggiate verso la Cattedrale di Malaga, conosciuta affettuosamente come La Manquita in spagnolo. Questo soprannome, che si traduce in "La signora con un braccio solo", si riferisce alla torre sud della cattedrale, rimasta incompiuta e diventata una parte simbolica della cattedrale.Per il primo boccone della giornata, recatevi alla Bodegas El Pimpi, una taverna nota per l'atmosfera accogliente e la classica cucina andalusa. Il menu è all'insegna della tradizione, con una tipica tapa malaguena servita nel modo più classico, con un drink. Quindi, dirigetevi verso Sabor a Espana - il dolce profumo di caramello che riempie la strada vi condurrà direttamente in questo luogo gustoso - per vedere come vengono prodotte le noci caramellate e, naturalmente, potrete assaggiarne un po'. Infine, concludete il tour con un po' di tempo libero per girare la città a vostro piacimento.

For me too much bites not enough sights. We had a quick walking tour of central Malaga, with no real opportunity to stop, which for some reason involved spending ages in a shop selling nuts, then a visit to a bar for a drink & tapas, which then left only an hour & a half free time. I would have liked to visit both the Alcazaba & the Cathedral, but there was only time to visit one.

Het was een hele goede uitstap. De gids was super je kan er alles aanvragen en gaf je de nodige uitleg! Deze uitstap is zeker een aanrader als je meer wilt weten over Malaga!

The guide was very knowledgable and gave lots of facts about Malaga. However the storm drains were very smelly as we walked near them, the worst place was Picasso square as the smell of urine was overwhelming, no wonder as there are no public toilets.

I enjoyed the tour and thought that it was very good value for money. I thought that the walking tour was good and informative but considering the heat of the day and the fact that we had some more elderly people with walking difficulties in the group I felt that perhaps the pace was a little too fast but overall very good. I particularly enjoyed the drink and the tapa which was more than welcome on such a hot day and after the walking tour!

De groep was veel te groot, waardoor de reisleiding het overzicht kwijt was, plus mensen die slecht ter been zijn. De aangeboden lunch was schandalig weinig. En personeel in dat restaurant grof tegen mijn vrouw.

Allereerst is de Belgische hostess een zeer onvriendelijke vrouw. Ze was duidelijk geïrriteerd dat wij niet bij uitleg in de lobby waren. Ze zei ik ben Belgisch en verander niet. De excursie Malaga is schandalig slecht. Er was ons een bezoek aan het kasteel beloofd, we stonden voor een dode muur met graffiti erop. In Malaga was de tapas een bolletje vissalade. 4 keer rond de kathedraal gelopen. Branderij noten was in winkel waar je 1 nootje kreeg en je kon daarna zelf noten kopen.

We were given headsets and assigned a separate guide to the one we set off with. I have severe back problems and can't walk quickly, and need to sit down regularly. However, the group leader we had, just set off as if was on a mission, and it was impossible for me to keep up. My husband had to run to give him back the headsets. I was very distressed by this and complained to the hotel rep later that day.

Een mooie stadswandeli g door Malaga met een goede gids. De wandeling ging erg snel. De tapas en de gekaramaliseerde noot stelde niet veel voor. Ook waren we voorgelicht dat we naar een oude bodega zouden gaan met een proeverij. Dot is er e hier helemaal niet van gekomen.

Het was een mooie excursie met n aardige reisleiding. Echter48 € pp vinden we t niet waard sites en Bites met tapas en we dachten een proeverijtje is erg minimaal en t stelde niet veel voor. Wij hadden er toch iets meer van verwacht.Tapas was n bolletje aardappelsalade met sinas appel.een drankje en een gecarameliseerde noot. Mooie stad.voor ouderen een te snelle wandeling.

Veels te weinig tijd. Had iets meer over de geschiedenis van malaga gehoord. Tapas was lekker maar is geen lunch iets te weinig. Van mij had de rondleiding van de notenbar niet gehoeven.

The tour guide was very pleasant and took into consideration that there was elderly people within our group so they were always making sure the pace of walking was fine for them. I would have liked abit more free time to walk around Málaga so hopefully we will plan a city break at a later time.
