Living in the coastal subtropical waters around Sal, lemon sharks are one of the easiest sharks to spot in their natural habitat. You'll venture out to Shark Bay with a marine biologist to interact and learn about these fascinating creatures on this half-day trip.After pick-up from your hotel, you'll drive to Shark Bay over on the east coast of Sal where your lemon shark experience will begin. You'll wade out into the water with a marine biologist, who will guide you step by step and teach you all about this incredible species.Spot their yellow-tinted skin – ideal for camouflage in the sandy shores – and watch them as they go about their business, twisting and turning, and looking for fish just a few feet away. You'll see their fins cutting through the surface of the water and get to know these sharks closer than you could imagine.

la visite était interessante, nous avons vu des requins citrons, certains se faufilent entre les jambes. Ils sont à l'état sauvage, il ne faut donc pas s'attendre à trouver l'aspect aquarium avec de nombreux requins? Seuls les requins de moins de 7 ans s'approchent, les requins adultes restent un peu plus loin, les ailerons sont bien visibles. Pour ma part, premier fois dans un milieu ouvert avec des requins, j'ai trouvé cela très bien

Trop de touristes. Notre guide était le seul à ne pas donner à manger aux requins… ducoup moins de requins chez nous. Les chaussures m’ont coûté trois euros la paire… annoncées deux euros… arnaque je suppose. Sinon bien évidemment que c’est incroyable d’avoir des bébés requins à côté de soi…j’aurais préféré arriver la première sur place… ou la dernière… mais je n’aime pas ce tourisme de masse.

Expérience à faire proche des bébés requins qui nagent juste devant vous. Niveau de la mer à mi-cuisses.. Prévoir des chaussures pour marcher sur les rochers et pierres au fond de l’eau (sinon prêt sur place 3€/pers).

Our guide made this experience unique. She is a Belgian marine biologist who lives and works on the island. She told us a lot about the flora and guided the experience in a sustainable way. We even were lucky enough to spot whales in the distance. Highly recommend this experience.
