Wat te verwachten
Deze experience is een en al avontuur. Met een buggy rij je deze avond offroad, zwem je in ondergrondse meren en maak je traditionele Taino ceremonies mee. Daar schiet je adrenaline peil mijlenver van omhoog. Juan, een van onze lokale gidsen, zegt: "Grotten en cenotes speelden een belangrijke rol in de inheemse Taino-cultuur. Hoewel ze er verleidelijk uitzien met hun koele aquamarijne water, zwommen de Taino zelf nooit in de cenotes. Ook gebruikten ze het water niet omdat ze geloofden dat deze plekken een poort naar de onderwereld waren.” Deze tocht vanuit Punta Cana verder nog een Dominicaans diner met gratis drankjes en live muziek.Je stuitert door het Dominicaanse platteland over onverharde paden. En je ziet het landschap veranderen van dag in nacht zonder dat er enig ander verkeer te zien is. Met behulp van zaklampen vervolg je je weg naar een sfeervol verlicht ondergronds meer, ook wel cenote genoemd. Hier neem je een verfrissende duik. En als je voor de safaritruck optie kiest, bezoek je ook de griezelige diepten van Yara Cave.Dankzij de fakkels langs de weg vind je de weg terug naar het kamp. Daar kom je helemaal bij met een welverdiend drankje en een heerlijk diner met lokale gerechten. Je eindigt de avond met traditionele Taino dansen. Of je kijkt toe onder de sterren met een drankje in je hand uit de open bar.

Experience was brilliant, pick up was really slow from hotel in a truck that was only 3 speed with bold tyres on back. No instruction on biuggies ( I’m a gravel Rally driver) good experience once going, nice history lesson, cave was amazing, good after was very good, carnival and trip home just went on too long , overall 4 stars. Any negative would be , we paid £100 dollars for photos before hand and we actually had to push for photos to be taken , I think thee should be a better system!

Uns wurde auf mehrfache Nachfrage beim buchen ein deutschsprachiger Guide zugesichert. Dies war dann natürlich nicht der Fall. SEHR SCHLECHT. Desweiteren lange Wartezeiten, sehr viele Fahrzeuge, sehr laute Musik in der Zynode und am Ende mit irgendwelchen Spasprogramm viel zu laut

This experience was amazing! This was very well organised from start to finish, very friendly staff and one in particular very funny throughout (Sexy Capucinno)! Food was nice and plentiful, buffet style. Lovely drinks offered throughout. Be prepared to get muddy and dirty during the buggy ride which was fun and bumpy at times which made it even better ! Well worth the money

It was a great experience and lots of fun. The staff were welcoming, the buggies were great fun and exciting (wear dark clothing) and it was good to learn about the history and the some local drinks. The cave was great fun with the DJ but take water shoes with you as it’s rocky in the water. The dinner was ok. They work hard to involve everyone in the evening dance. Pick up wasn’t very organised. We waited over 30 minutes after it ended to be picked up and there was no communication about this.

We were supposed to have a bandana and glasses given to us at the start as it was included in the price….. however after asking several times, none were made available to us. Unless we were paying then no one seemed interested. We were told by several staff they were going to get us some but nothing was provided as promised. This was disappointing

Picked up on the boogie truck and taken straight to destination, very well organised throughout. Had to buy goggles as my husband wears glasses and glasses provided do not fit over glasses. Half way through the boogies got the chance to swop over drivers. cave pool party was amazing. Meal edible. Bar service slow disco after which i wasn't expecting but it was fun. Wear something you don't mind getting muddy, bring spare set clothes, towel provided bring water as not much offered.

Our guides “Sexy Chocolate” and “Sexy Pineapple” were excellent! They are fun guys who kept the experience interesting! The DJ playing music in the cenote was very good, we did not want the party to end. Food was good, our favorite was the fried chicken. It was also very good to learn about the culture of the Dominican people and the history of the Taino. This was the best tour we have been to. The photos were very good also.

We liked sexy cappuccino and sexy chocolate, the buggies were not explained/showed how to use them even thought we’d signed a waiver. The use of buggies could’ve been longer, felt it was relatively short and didn’t feel an adrenaline rush like we’d hoped. The history that was explained about tribes was informative, we liked trying different things we are used too. The cave was fun, but the music could’ve been a little quieter. No pre warning when going to the next activity, we got lost also.

This was probably our favourite excursion. The buggy tour and cave experience were great. We weren’t given any safety instructions before getting in the buggy, nobody checking we could drive them (all fine in our case but I’m sure nerve wracking for some who hadn’t driven a buggy before). The last half an hour after dinner in the ampitheatre - was a bit much/ corny, forcing everyone to dance even those who clearly didn’t want to (not us). Tour guide cappuccino very good

Leuke uitstap. Met de buggy’s door de modder rijden was geweldig, maar wel vrij kort. Tip: voorzie kledij die je kan missen, want of er dit nog uit te wassen is is maar zeer de vraag :-) Technisch zijn de buggy’s niet helemaal wat wij bij ons gewend zijn, maar tegen de snelheden dat er gereden wordt is dat niet direct een probleem. Uitleg over de Tainos was interessant. Proeven van de streekproducten ook. Zwemmen in de grot was top met de DJ enz, en het eten was ook lekker. Aanrader!

Het buggy rijden was heel erg leuk. Alleen het weer zat ontiegelijk tegen. De stroom viel uit. En het was heel erg gericht op hun spullen verkopen. Ze gingen producten laten zien 30 minuten lang en dit was eigenlijk een verkoop praatje. Het zwemmen in de grot was wel heel erg leuk en het eten was te doen. We werden daarna met een transfer busje direct naar het resort gebracht dit was wel heel fijn!

Just a personal opinion - but would have preferred longer in the buggies and as the party was so large was unable to travel at speeds more than 15-20MPH as had to keep stopping when bunching up - so not very exciting. Also wasnt told we were not driving back from halfway point as a bus provided - if we would've known we would've brought a change of clothes, which many others had. Overall a good experience - maybe we should have asked more questions or more info given?

We loved the buggy ride and seeing the local children but felt like it was all very disorganised. When we arrived wasn't sure where to go. Then we were put into groups but again not organised nobody knew were they needed to be. The show was good but only 10mins. The swimming in the cave but was one of the highlights. Downside was the disorganisation even at the end waiting for ride back to the hotel total chaos. Overall I enjoyed the trip but wouldn't do it again

The excursion itself was amazing, started with around 45 minutes on the buggies with an opportunity to swap drivers half way through. The buggies were fun, weren’t forced to go fast if you didn’t want to, we didn’t get that muddy. After buggies there was a marketing push and a dominican dance which dragged a bit. Then we went to the cenote which was so fun, wish we had longer in there! The food was alright, buffet style selection. Very late finish, back at hotel around 11pm.

Das Buggy-Fahren an sich hat echt Spaß gemacht, alles was danach kam war nur ein hin und her Gehetze. Es wurde viel Zeit in den Shops verbracht um Souvenirs zu verkaufen, dafür umso weniger Zeit für die eigentlich interessanten Dinge. In der Grotte waren wir maximal 20 Minuten. Für das Tanzen inklusive Karneval nach dem Essen waren nur 15 Min. vorgesehen. Die sogenannte Open Bar während dem Abend wurde weder richtig angeboten, noch konnte sie in der Zeit wirklich genutzt werden.

Tried to charge us 10 dollars for goggles and a bandana, buggies have seen better days , brakes and steering were abysmal, felt rushed the whole time and it took 3 hrs to get there from our hotel in La Romana. Overall the experience was not as expected , would not advise it to anyone who has a bad back etc. A very long trip there and back . Food mediocre and service not as expected.

Franchement par rapport au prix et la manière dont s’est vendu ce n’est pas top. Tout d’abord, le trajet fut extrêmement long, nous avons changer deux fois de bus pour arriver à destination avec à chaque des délais d’attente long. Ensuite arrivée sur place, on nous avait dit qu’on aurait chacun un quad mais ce n’était que pour 2 obligé. De plus, cela a duré une heure même pas. Enfin, on avait également choisi cette activité pour faire le cenote et ce qu’on nous avons eu était seulement une gro

Positiv: Wir hatten viel Spaß beim Fahren mit dem Bugy durch das Gelände und bei der anschließenden Schwimm-Party in der Grotte. Negativ: Keine deutschsprachige Einweisung und Begleitung wie angegeben. Die Bremse unseres Bugy war sehr sehr schwammig und man hatte kein sicheres Gefühl beim Bremsen. Gefühlt war alles sehr knapp getacktet so das es einen sehr Stressigen Eindruck machte.

Something a little different, would definitely recommend this activity. They throw you in the deep end and everybody just gets on with it. Tour guides are full of life and the soul of the party. Fantastic knowledge of local delicacies, with cave swim, gift shop and dancing after the meal. Very happy we went.

Transport was on time green wristband given. Picked up a few from different hotels Arrived on site a lot of staff trying to sell you pictures packages . - don’t it’s a lot of money we were quoted €500 for 4 . Take you phone with you or GoPro Buggies were ok About an hour drive up into a village ally of rubbish along sides of the road it’s so sad .Be careful of the kids some what to high-five you others try and steal bags . Once you arrive at the park your going to get wet and muddy

Great atmosphere, the food was delicious and getting to sample some local produce. I think there needs to be some sort of instructions on how to drive the buggy, especially for those who are not left hand drivers or manual drivers. Overall though, it really was a great experience

The buggies were good, however, people in front of us were slowing down to go through the muddy water whereas personally we wanted to go fast and make a mess. The cave rave was very good and the food was outstanding. The disco at the end was good with the balloons being given out, however, due to the disco there wasn't a lot of "open bar" time but we thought this to be fine as we would rather enjoy the experience.

The transfer time was a lot longer than advised - we were picked up on time from hotel but then waiting at a box junction to join another bus for 25 minutes - it wasn’t explained why we were waiting so was a bit scary. It was a bit chaotic when we arrived at the buggies , and were left standing in the rain before getting into buggies , where were no safety demonstration or told what to do with the buggies - no where to leave your bags so clean clothes got wet & dirty that were in the bag

Very good night out, really enjoyed myself. However, the very pushy photo sale people don’t give you a minute to yourself, one was on me straightaway Annoying, as I was trying to stay with my group, and he was throwing forms at me to fill in. Relax with the pushy sales pitch, let people see the photos first, and then make their own mind up after the experience.

The guides are fantastic they really made us feel welcome they are very knowledgable and informative and put safety first throughout the trip the route taken goes off the beaten track into a nearby remote village, entertainment is provided throughout the excursion all the way through to the dancing at the end one bit of advice for people who are going on this, the gift shop at the end of the excursion has a lot better prices than the one at the start.

When youve paid over £100 each id rather be left alone to enjoy my experience and not constantly be pushed to buy things.

Actual buggy tour was excellent and good fun,hard sell in the shop before hand,opted for photos and paid cash in the shop,only to get refund at the end as there was only 6 pictures and a couple were duplicate,didn’t get offered alcoholic drinks at the open bar,had to ask for drinks(saves money for them)there was a mad scramble at the end with everyone else trying to view pictures and more people complaining about the pictures

Excellent entertainment! Fun, safe and well organised buggie ride. Then on to the entertainment park. Enjoyed the cultural dance and learning the history. The tour guide was fantastic! Then onto the cave pool, which you could safely walk in. Incredible and fun experience with DJ there too. Then areas to change and dry/fresh up before Dominican dinner. Beautiful service, great night! Take money for shops as there’s opportunities to buy chocolate,cigars etc.

Het buggyrijden was leuk. Grotten ook leuk. Dat we niet opgehaald werden was minder. De hotelportier werd onze held.

Staff were informative and engaging. Enjoyed the buggy ride - boys would have liked to have gone faster but we appreciate the H&S limitations. We all enjoyed the shows and experiences - learning about Taino people of DR, trying organic produce, cave swim/party & food & dancing. Photos were really good keepsakes if a little expensive but that’s the norm these days.all in all a full evening of varied entertainment.

The cave was amazing, the buggies were fun, but should have warned us the clay didn’t wash out! The shop was over the top I felt hassled and harassed by the staff everything is so over priced.

On nous a vendu une excursion de 8h ! À peine 6h avec le trajet de 1h15 aller et retour. On ne nous a pas prévenu qu’il fallait des vêtements exprès pour se salir. On nous a dit fiesta dans la cenote, qui n’était pas une vrai, elle est artificielle. On a été en tout montre en main à peine 22min dans la cenote !!! On a fait 1h de buggy à 20km/h, 40 buggy qui se suivait. Fiesta du soir 30min max. Beaucoup blabla avec que qlq mots en français. Excursion nul à chier. Remboursement?

The trip was fab, arranged great and the hosts was great. Downside, take to the shop before the buggy’s waiting around nearly 45mins dealing with stroppy staff then the end, the buses was outside waiting to come in but we was waiting for the place to get more sales! Then driven way past our place to drop others off first then doubling back making the return 1hr long!!!!

Leider keine Übersetzung der Vorträge und Sicherheitseinweisung in deutsch. Tollee Party und gutes Essen nach der Tour. Mehr was für junge Menschen. Zuviel Verkauf von Souvenirs im Angebot. Fotos die während der Fahrt gemacht werden nur im zu teurem Paket zu bekommen.

Tout d abord c était un nouveau buggy le notre n avait pas de freins. On nous dit à l entree qu ils vendent bandana lunette pochette pour le GSM nous avions un foulard mais après on nous fait passer ds la boutique et faire signer un papier enANGLAIS niveau responsabilité La grotte pas de jeux de lumière ceux qui étaient ds l eau on leur a versé à boire à volonté nous on as du réclamer.Avec tui on nous as donné un bandana et des lunettes que nous avons rendues après On devait passer ds les villa

Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen,leider keine deutsche Reiseführer…war aber letzten Endes kein Problem für uns , das Ambiente bei dieser abendtour war überragend gut ??. Preis Leistung top . Wünschenswert wäre mehr einheimische Küche , mit Bezeichnung… Insgesamt 9+

The best experience if you’re looking for fun and thrills Mr surprise, Cappuccino and Coca Cola were quality and made the experience one to remember. With a warm evenings drive with the sunset in the distance driving through the jungle giving high fives to the locals as you drive to splashing in the mud and dancing in the cenotes with Mamajuana it lived up to expectations and went over. A great evening worth paying for!

Amazing excursion. The buggy ride was a good amount of time - (bring spare clothes you get covered in dust/mud). We got to taste Dominican produce which was really interesting. The Dominican dinner was delicious and the centote was so much fun. The staff running it were amazing and full of energy. Definitely felt like we got our moneys worth. Would highly recommend to anyone considering. Don’t bring anything you don’t want to get dirty!!

arnaque.com...voici comment j'ai vécu cette expérience. beaucoup trop de monde à la fois pour plus de rentabilité. 45 mn de buggy seulement sans aucune sensations sur des pistes très peux accidentées. sanotte et endroit magnifique mais je ne suis pas allé là pour danser ou pour faire du shopping repas correct. sortie très décevante et surtout BEAUCOUP TROP CHERE pour une prestation bas de gamme. trés deçu et je n'ai pas manqué d'en faire part aux autres pigeons qui voulaient tenter l'expérience

Amazing experience, hotel pick up was punctual, the tour offered buggy experience that you will drive around country roads, taino shows from village locals, amazing party cave in the water with good music, dinner and a dance show for the end. Amazing vibes. Don't think twice , just do it!
