Jacobo Fitz-James Stuart and, Ventura Colón, the ancestor of the Alba's Duchess, the Palace of Liria, denominated as the little brother of the Royal Palace, is one of the most magnificent palaces of Madrid of the 18th century.Nowadays is still being the residence of the Alba's Dukes and the headquarter of the Alba's House Foundation, and it is one of the most important architectonic buildings of Madrid, hosting one of the most distinguished private art collections.On this audio-guided tour, you'll enjoy a cultural and sensorial experience, merging the senses through music, voices, words, and images, which together, will transmit to you the essence of a lived palace, the spirit that inhabits it, and the admiration for the art collection that decorates its rooms. Online purchase of the tickets to see el Palacio de Liria was easy. No line and smooth entry at the palace.
The tour took only 35 minutes but was packed with lots of fine art. Paintings by Rubens, Goya, Velazquez, El Greco and Murillo. An important collection of books and documents and more!
