The special passage between the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica is closed on Wednesdays and is subject to other unexpected closures during special celebrations. On such days you'll explore the Pinacoteca Gallery instead
Sometimes guides may not be allowed to give tours inside St. Peter's Basilica, in which case they will share a brief explanation from outside, and you'll be free to visit the Basilica by yourself
Men and women must cover knees and shoulders to enter religious sites. The local operator cannot be held responsible for those denied entry
Groups are limited to a maximum of 20 people

Audio udstyret var ikke bedste kvalitet. Når der er meget andet larm er det svært at høre med kun en høreprop, især når der tales med accent. Guiden var god til at holde os samlet trods rigtig mange mennesker!

Det som var bra var att guiden visade mycket som ”egentligen” inte ingick i turen, vilket gjorde att man verkligen fick valuta för pengarna. Nackdelen var att ljudet fungerade dåligt och att guiden pratade fort och på lite halvkass engelska.

Goede enthousiaste gidse. Kleine groep (12 p.). Skip the line is een must, anders sta je uren in de rij. De gidse had veel kennis en kon deze op een aangename manier over brengen. Een aanrader.

Onze verzamelplaats was bij een klein café waar onze gepassioneerde gids Vincenzo ons op wachtte. Super indrukwekkende excursie. We hebben echt heel veel gezien in en onder het Vaticaan en in de sixtijnse kapel. Je jas en tas gaat door detector, grote dingen moet je inleveren en kan je later ophalen

Vi tyckte att det fungerade felfritt, Det var lätt att hitta samlingspunkt, vår guide Kristina var kunnig och gav oss en väldigt informativ och rolig upplevelse. Vi trodde att 3 timmar skulle vara i längsta laget, men efteråt så känns det som att vi skulle kunna gå någon timme till.

Onze gids was geweldig. Ze wist zoveel te vertellen met groot enthousiasme. Ik had me geen betere gids kunnen wensen. 2 tips: Bij de verzamelplaats duidelijk te onderscheiden zijn van andere groepen, was nu niet zo en altijd heel duidelijk een punt afspreken na de Sixtijnse Kapel want daar ben ik de gids kwijtgeraakt en ik liep door maar kon niet meer terug.

Een erg leuke excursie onder begeleiding van een aardige en enthousiaste gids die goed Engels sprak en die de vragen, die werden gesteld, eenvoudig wist te beantwoorden. Hij was in staat om zijn (vele) kennis in te zetten op de juiste momenten, zonder een overkill aan informatie te geven. De excursie was niet goedkoop, maar zeker de moeite waard. Geeft je een goede indruk van alle belangrijke onderdelen. Zonder de excursie hadden we zeker niet zoveel gezien en waren we zeker niet zoveel te weten gekomen.

We had a really great guide who was very knowledgeable but without going over the top. It was fantastic to be able to skip the main line (which was huge!). Once we had finished it was easy to get into the smallish queue to go up to the top of the Dome - where I advise to use the lift for the main part as there are plenty of other steps to climb after that point. Due to Annas great experience with the vatican an the petersdom ist was a real pleasure to see this impressive site.
