What to expect
The Orangerie Museum is a wonderful place, located in the very heart of Paris in the Tuileries garden.Entirely renovated, the museum allows you to discover with a natural and original light Monet’s Nymphéas (Water Lilies) and 146 other masterpieces of the Walter-Guillaume collection (Renoir, Cézanne, Modigliani, Matisse, Picasso, Derain, Soutine).

buyers be aware this website sells non-time-slot tickets but you will have to lineup with those who don’t have tickets so there’s no real advantage. People with timeslot tickets go in a different queue which is very short. I wanted no time slot to have flexible entry but ended up in pouring rain.

Ehrlich gesagt war ich zwischendurch etwas skeptisch, ob das mit dem buchen des Tickets über ihre Agentur funktioniert. In der Orangerie waren schon längst alle Plätze ausgebucht und sie haben noch Tickets angeboten. Irgendwie hatte ich den Eindruck (für kurz), dass es sich um eine Betrüger Firma

Nearly no queuing to get in at 10:30 with/without ticket, no issues that it was untimed. But lots of people already inside, so bit noisy & quite a wait to sit down & contemplate. Hard to get a clear view but paintings truly wonderful - in Oct best seen after Giverny as the waterlilies are over.

Ma visite a été décevante. Même si le panneau demande le silence, la plupart des visiteurs parlaient. Les mesures de respect ne sont pas assez appliquées : les groupes ne devraient pas dépasser 20 personnes par heure et le silence devrait être strictement respecté.

J'ai apprécié ma visite au musée. Par contre ce qui m'a déstabilisée c'est l'incivicité des autres visiteurs.Difficile d'observer une oeuvre sans être bousculée. Dommage qu'ils ne respectent pas de faire le silence comme demandé devant "Les Nymphéas"

Our recent visit was my second to the gallery, and we were there primarily to see Monet's Waterlillies. The enjoyment of the paintings is greatly limited by visitors with cameras and phones that spend long periods in front of the paintings.

Je suis arrivée à 10h avec mon billet donc je n'ai pas fait cette immense file d'attente, qui m'impressionne.
Je suis restée 2h30 dans le musée. J'ai été fasciné par les nymphéas. Je trouve que la majorité des visiteurs prend des photos plus que de regarder l'oeuvre. faire respecter le silence.

Man kauft bei Ihnen Tickets online im Voraus, was natürlich v.a. Sinn macht, um nicht ewig an der Kasse zu stehen. Genau das aber geht über Ihren Service nicht, weil man nicht für eine Uhrzeit bucht, sondern nur für den Tag. Dies wiederum zwingt einen ein die Warteschlange mit 500 anderen. Böse Falle!

A must art gallery to visit while in Paris. I suggest getting there first thing at opening time as by the afternoon Monet’s Lilly rooms are packed, and noisy.
