Just off the coast of Dubrovnik, the Elaphite Islands are an oasis of olive groves, pine-clad hills and sandy beaches. See these Instagrammable isles aboard a 3-hour catamaran cruise complete with all-inclusive drinks, snacks and swim stops. It's a top way to spend the day in Croatia. Jakov, one of our expert local guides, says, "they may only be a short hop from busy Dubrovnik, but these 13 islands are a world away. Only three are inhabited, and the total population is less than 1,000 people. They are as beautiful as they are peaceful."After pick-up at your hotel, we'll head for the port of Gruz and cast off on our island-hopping adventure. There are more than 1,000 islands in Croatia – but few are more alluring than the 13 Elaphite Islands. Rugged rocky shores are softened by the aromatic Mediterranean vegetation and dimpled with pretty inlets. We'll sail into a selection of the best bays as you indulge in free-flowing beer, wine and soft drinks from the bar. There'll be fresh fruit and snacks, too.Top up your tan on deck as we weave through the string of islands, and we'll drop anchor in coves that beckon you into the water for a cooling swim. Will you opt for a refreshing dip, or simply stay on board for a snooze in the sunshine? The choice is yours. After a few hours at sea, you'll be suitably relaxed as we bob back to port.

De excursie is niet verlopen zoals dit was aangegeven. Wij gingen voor de blauwe grot, echter we vertrokken uit Dubrovnik naar links een baaitje, daar kon je 45 minuten zwemmen om vervolgens naar de overkant te varen Zaton (langs de D8). Daar bleef hij een uur liggen om vervolgens weer naar de haven van Dubrovnik te varen. We hebben dus geen blauwe grot mogen zien. Voor €70 pp echt not done! Meteen een klacht ingediend bij de reisleiding Zij vertelde dat de kapitein zelf zijn route heeft bepaald

Was sold to me as a snorkelling trip including the blue cave. Was actually a short ride (1 mile max) out of the harbour to 2 non descript locations with no reef or shoals of fish to look at. No snorkelling equipment was provided so my wife could not snorkel. Luckily I did bring my own snorkelling gear. No one else on the boat was snorkelling! Totally mis-sold the excursion by the rep! Total distrust of TUI excursions now and will opt to buy from local in resort sellers instead.

Nous avons aimé la balade en catamaran, mais hélas pour le prix nous n'avons pas pu voir les grottes bleues à cause du temps qui n'était pas au RDV....certainement par sécurité, ils auraient du nous prévenir et à nous de choisir, le remboursement ou au moins faire un prix, car être sur un bateau et faire 2 baignades, nous pouvons le faire avec des prix un peu plus abordables surtout que nous étions 3 personnes....un budget quand même....

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le tour en catamaran dans les deux îles Élaphites, les pauses baignade, la visite de la Blue Cave et les services à bord, c'était top ! Nous aurions apprécié que le catamaran déplie les voiles en mer.

Sejour super, hotel magnifique, belles infrastructures (piscines...) et services de qualité (restauration, animation...). Gros bémol sur la chambre familiale petite, la salle de bain minuscule et la vue sur les climatisations et le parking vraiment moche

Excellent cruise. Staff and guide are really good. The swim to the cave is fairly strenuous so I'd advise wearing a life jacket if you are not a confident swimmer. A really good trip that is excellent value.

Good trip prefer a catamaran as smoother Good organisation with pickup and trip itself Plenty of room on the boat don’t think was full (79) Blue cave was disappointing and little information given as had a very low entrance and with the choppy sea we didn’t go in. It’s not a big wide entrance you can just swim into Would have been better with more information I.e.swim in 10ft underwater and come up into the cave, but the unknown meant we didn’t do it Overall though trip was good value

Chambre propre et correct .cuisine variée appréciable. Manque de table ping pong ou billard pour le soir. Un peu calme au niveau animation . Mais lieu très appréciable. Excursion très cher.

Overall this was a good experience, staff were friendly and helpful. Safety on the boat was excellent and Andy the guide was great. It should be made clear before you book that to get into the Blue Cave you have to swim underwater. It was dangerous to swim to the Blue Cave as it was so busy with other boats and we couldn't get as close as we expected. Throughout the time at the Blue Cave Andy, the guide, was in the water keeping an eye on guests. Thank you. The coach back was poor.

Really good trip on a great boat and make two stops for swimming. Dangerous to access the cave itself as was high tide. Lots of drinks and snacks available. Good option as an half day and we didn’t want to be out all day. Only concern is they were not as pro life jackets with kids as have seen in other countries.

Magnifique ballade en mer, le personnel reste à disposition notamment pour nous prêter des gilets de sauvetage afin de nager en mer en toute sécurité. Le seul bémol sur la collation des chips et des bretzels c'est plutôt moyen! Il y a sûrement des spécialités croates meilleurs à déguster.!! Il y a de la pastèque mais d'autres fruits supplémentaires seraient très appréciés . Les boissons sont à volonté, c'est parfait. L'équipage est vraiment très agréable. A faire ??

Excursion nécessitant plus de précisions car les arrêts en mer sont réalisés en pleine mer et les vacanciers doivent savoir nager. En outre, la grotte bleue restera inaccessible aux mauvais nageurs, aux personnes âgées et aux enfants car la distance entre le catamaran et la grotte est conséquente. Un personnel de sécurité serait apprécié dans l’eau aux côtés des vacanciers.

A wonderful afternoon activity, we were collected from our hotel and brought home after wards, we swam to the blue cave this was a tough swim though! We had an excellent tour guide onboard and had access to beers, water, liquor shots, watermelon and pretzels, well worth the spend ! Great music too.

The blue caves were amazing although we had quite a long swim to get to the cave itself. The catamaran was also lovely. The only thing that let the trip down was the wine was awful and the snacks just consisted of watermelon and pretzels and were not as advertised.

Cruise was gorgeous and very friendly and relaxed, stunning locations however there was no safety talk eg what to do in an emergency, and whilst we can all swim as a family we didn’t expect to have to swim so far. ( this wasn’t noted on the itinerary) My husband isn’t a confident swimmer in open water and so was unable to join us to the cave. We later found a buoyancy aid when asked. When we left each swim stop nobody asked to see if everyone was on board - a bit of a fend for yourself situation

The whole experience was so enjoyable and relaxing. Prompt pick up from the hotel and informative guide on the boat making sure we got on the correct bus afterwards. Plenty drinks and snacks. Overall a very good experience

We were collected from our hotel and taken to Dubrovnik harbour where we were met by our guide. Wine, beer and soft drinks were free flowing throughout the trip. Watermelon and plain cheese and cheese and ham crossandwich were also plentiful. A swim stop to see the blue caves, followed by a further swim stop on the way back. As we were a small group they even squeezed in a 30 min stop at a village for a coffee. Fantastic trip, great value for money, highly recommended.

The day trip was amazing, the atmosphere on the boat was lovely, with really good service from boat crew. Everything was explained in great detail when reaching each island, with plenty of time at each one to explore with free time allowing you to Explore what you wanted to see, Rather than following a group. Plenty of cold drinks and snacks were available throughout the day. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant adventure to swim out by the caves and even just chilling on the catamaran whilst we travelled was very relaxing and provided great views. All-inclusive drinks with sandwiches and watermelon is a great perk. We, and most other people, brought our own snorkelling masks to enjoy an underwater view - which I definitely recommend!
