What to expect
Follow in the footsteps of Hollywood A-listers with this half-day tour of Ischia. It'll see you sipping coffee in the same spot as stars like Liz Taylor and Sophia Loren, strolling the shabby-chic old town of Ischia Ponte and watching the sun set over Forio Bay. First up is Ischia Ponte. Packed with peeling pastel-coloured houses and dominated by the Aragonese castle, it's as seductive as it appeared on screen when it hosted Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jude Law in The Talented Mr. Ripley.In Casamicciola, you'll visit the ruins of a former first-class spa resort destroyed in the earthquake of 1883, before stopping by Piazza Santa Restituta – meeting place for stars of the silver screen during Hollywood's heyday. There's a break for an apéritif at the luxurious seafront Regina Isabella Hotel in Lacco Ameno before heading to Forio old town. A stroll over to Chiesa del Soccorso viewpoint sets the scene for a stunning sunset to round off the tour.

Eine zauberhafte Reise in die Film- Welt! Exzellente Art zu erzählen und mit den Geschichten von Ischia und deren Prominenten zu fesseln durch Herrn Björn Kellenberger. Ich habe es zum dritten Mal daran teilgenommen und habe immer wieder etwas neues erfahren. Dieser Ausflug ist empfehlenswert!

Die Rundreise an Orte, die in Filmen vorkommen oder von wissenschaftlichem Interesse sind, war bereichernd, auch die Untermalung mit Musik und Fotos war interessant, der Cocktail im Regina Isabella ein Highlight, die Führung durch Herrn Kellenberger sehr sachkundig!

Die Fahrerin des Ischia-Busses auf dem Ausflug hieß Valentina. Sie fuhr konzentriert war dennoch umsichtig und freundlich und hat uns sicher Berge hoch und runter als auch durch manch enge Gasse gefahren. Unser Guide war Herr Björn Kellenberger. Er hat uns mit seiner angenehm ruhigen Art Geschichten wunderbar beschrieben. Kein aufgesetzter Humor, sondern authentisch und locker. Ihm liegt Ischia am Herzen und er hat uns viel ********** darauf gemacht, wieder einige alte Filme anzusehen.

Herr Kellenberger war super gut vorbereitet. Er konnte viel Wissen insgesamt übermitteln und hat die Tour sehr unterhaltsam, z.B. durch Einspielen entspr. Filmmusik, gestaltet. Auch konnte er mit allen Teilnehmern perfekt umgehen und hatte perfekte Fahrer engagiert. Es gab keinen Zeitstress, überall wurden stets alle Fragen beantwortet. Auch der aperitivo im Regina Isabella war gelungen. Wir wurden dort sehr zuvorkommend bedient. Ein gelungener Nachmittag.
