This grand tour of Lanzarote leaves no stone unturned. ‘You'll unearth the secrets of this volcanic island through the eyes of someone who has made it their home,' says Daria, one of our expert guides. You'll sample one-of-a-kind local wines from La Geria and discover how this important industry makes a difference in the community.Thanks to its otherworldly natural landscape, Lanzarote was declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1993. And the star of the show here is undoubtedly Timanfaya National Park. The overall tour experience was great although there were a couple of negatives. You may as well take the wine tasting of the tour,it was a waste of time.A thimble of sweet or dry wine in a moving queue.With no information.There was a lot more interest in trying to flog the jewellery next door. Two toilets at the salt flats with two coaches in,how time wasting was that.

Bit rushed looking at the attractions.
Lunch was not the best and if we got there any later there would have been a big queue.
Queue for the toilets at the salt fields due to them having only one loo.
Guide Rob knowledgable and made the tour interesting.

My husband became ill the night before with a gastroenteritis virus (Something both the hotel and Tui rep didn't disclose was rife in the hotel - confirmed by a doc we spoke to later) and we had to cancel our trip. I've asked for a refund, but it's looking unlikely that I will receive it as Tui rarely refund. Something to be aware of if booking a trip like this that costs a lot of money.

The tour and our guide were brilliant. Hats off to our coach driver for navigating the National Park. All in all, a very interesting day.
The only downside was the lunch. Felt like a cattle market with multiple coaches scrambling to get into the same place.

Overall we enjoyed the day, would have liked more time at the salt quarry (after queuing for the toilet there was no time to walk to the salt lakes). Not sure about the stop at the green lake place, not that interesting.

Enjoyed timanfaya, Jameos del Agua. Great guide (Rob), very informative and fun personality. La Geria wine tasting would have benefitted from a talk about wine making and different types of wine on offer rather than just tasting one sample in the wine shop.

The guide ('George') was professional, informative and fun. High five and Ole Ole for him??. The driver was most capable negotiating very narrow spaces and drove carefully making the journey a pleasure. Overall, a great trip that included lunch and admission to the points of interest. Good value for money.

Guide was very knowledgable about the volcanoes and the history of the island - wine tasting was a bit of a waste of time and not really tasting with only a choice of one wine! Lunch was very good and good choice. Would have been good to have had another stop from the last visit of the day - as it was an hours journey back to the hotel - overall a really good trip considering all day on a coach

The tour guild was very informative and we felt like we finished the trip with very clear knowledge of the Island. We went on the trip with young children (aged 8 and 6) who enjoyed it and did not get bored. There were plenty of stops and sites to view. Would definitely recommend!

Long queues (very) on some visits because of cruise ships in spoilt Tinmanfaya a but- cars & coaches everywhere queuing and its a but messy and slow having to meet at a hub and swap some passengers Salt flats ok, Tinmnafaya a must and the other sTops ok Lunch was pretty good but again very crowded.

Die Tour war sehr informativ und hat sich sehr gelohnt. Leider hat der Guide (ein Niederländer) überwiegend in englisch erklärt und sein deutsch war manchmal auch nicht so verständlich. Es war dennoch ein wahres Erlebnis.

Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen ,einziger negative Punkt : die Sprache. Ich erkläre besser,wir haben die Tour mit Führung in deutscher Sprache gebucht aber leider war in deutscher Sprache sehr wenig ,für Leute wie uns die nur ein paar Worte in englisch verstehen war das dann schwierig .Ansonsten war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit

Los Volcanes Natural park tour excellent, Janubio(salt flats)- good. Parque Nacional de Timanfaya Excellent.Jameos del Agua, a true wonder of the world. The party leader, Robert from Holland was very knowledgable and enthusiastic. He made the trip. The winery was a big disapointment. One felt you were just another group of tourists, as opposed to potential cuastomers! More individual interaction is needed. Great product, could be sold better.

Wycieczka ogólem bardzo ciekawa ze wzgledu na piekne miejsca . Obsluga przewodnika w moim odczuciu bardzo srednia zeby nie powiedziec slaba. Jak dla mnie odhaczony dzien pracy i nastepni prosze! Bez pasji, bez nawiazania relacji same suche fakty przekazywane tylem do ludzi w autokarze monotonnym tonem. Równie dobrze moglo byc puszczone nagranie. Na postojach szybko kilka informacji i czas wolny bez zadnych pytan. Równoczesnie byly wycieczki w innych jezykach i widac bylo róznice u przewodników.

Enjoyed drive around national park and Jameos del Agua. Wine ‘tasting’ very disappointing (choice of 2 only, no notes on the wines), salt flats just an excuse to get us to buy salt, lunch was ok but coffee should be included. Guide didn’t introduce himself. English ok (native language Dutch) but needs to learn proper technical terminology if going to describe geology, and indicate left or right of bus when pointing things out.

1. A word of greeting and welcome at the start would have been good 2. A very good impression of the island’s highlights at reasonable cost 3, The wine tasting was a non event which told us nothing at all about the wine we were offered or about the challenges of growing vines and producing wine in a rock and lave covered landscape. A pity. 4, Our guide told us that pickpockets had been operating at El Golfo. Unfortunately he didn’t warn us of this risk before my wallet was stolen there!

I enjoyed the whole trip, the itinerary is a pretty full one for the amount of time allocated to each part of the trip, but the guide did a good job of arranging the order of the places we went to, to avoid time being waisted in queuing to do certain parts of the trip. I think that the trip is good value for money, especially as lunch is included in the price.

Die Rundreise mit TUI durch die Nationalpark-Route in Lanzarote war sehr gelungen und hat tiefe Eindrücke bei mir und meiner mitgereisten Freundin hinterlassen. Phänomenal war für mich die Reiseleiterin, der es gelungen ist, in vier Sprachen zu übersetzen und zwar so, dass es bestens verständlich war. Ihr Deutsch war sehr gut. Toll war die Feuervorführung auf dem Vulkan, die Reise durch den Nationalpark, das Mittagessen ... lediglich die Weinprobe war sehr "schlicht".

The tour was amazing. We saw things we had never seen before. The driver was amazing, and cheerful with it. The guide was friendly, attentive and informative. The lunch was well organised and delicious. Having never been to Lanzarote before we couldn’t book the trip before we came as we could not understand where the pickup point would be. The Tui guide at our hotel sorted that all out for us so we will know better on our next visit.

El Golfo was a bit disappointing, but then we are spoilt as we live near the Jurassic coast. The wine tasting was a waste of time and instead of going to the Jameos Del Agua it would have been better to go to the Cueva De Los Verdes. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip, great to see the different landscapes on route. Lunch provided was very nice, with plenty of wine. Timanfaya was great, especially the lunar tour. Our guide really good, speaking both Polish and English

Wir haben sehr viel über die Geschichte der Vulkane und der unterschiedlichen Magma gehört. Die Erde is auch heute noch heiß an einigen Stellen. Wir haben wunderschöne Orte gesehen, konnten die Salzgewinnung besichtigen, haben eine Weinverkostung erlebt. Ein gutes Mittagessen war ebenfalls enthalten . Der Fahrer hat uns sicher durch die teils sehr kurvige Strecke gefahren. Da wir eine kleine Gruppe waren, konnte der Guide sehr viel zeigen.

The village first stop was poor and we had no guide. We joined up there with another group and the excellent guide was speaking in English and then in Polish all day. The salt pans weren’t particularly interesting. The wine tasting was not a wine tasting. We were given 2 glasses at a counter, one of sweet wine and one of semi sweet, and not even told what they were. There was nothing else to try and the visit was purely for sales. Highlights- temp demo, cave , scenic drive through volcano park.

We vonden deze tour echt geweldig. Vooral de gids Rob heeft de dag gemaakt voor ons. Wat ze wel aan moeten passen is het stukje over de wijnproeverij. Je maakt namelijk een kleine stop bij La Geria en krijg een slokje om te proeven. Je kan het beter omschrijven als een kort bezoek met een aperitief.

Besonders hat uns der Ausflug in den Nationalpark und die Höhle gefallen. Den Ausflug zur Salzfarm war eher unnötig, hat der Tour aber keinen Abbruch. Durch den Guide Rob hat man einen guten Einblick über die Insel erhalten.

Tour was top ! Chauffeur reed super, Rob de gids had veel kennis en gaf super uitleg . Veel gezien Tip, de wijnproeverij was een slok , ons idee was dat we meerdere wijnen zouden kunnen proeven .(overigens wel goede lekkere wijn )

I enjoyed the whole experience and thoroughly recommend it to anyone. But, although the english speaking guides were wonderfully kind and knowledgeable,, they spoke too quickly and and I couldn't understand what they were saying when we were driving!
