As family activities go, it's hard to beat a visit to Palma Aquarium. It's brimming with marine life and plenty of other attractions like the 3D Aquadome – a cinematic humpback whale experience. See hundreds of species from the Med as well as explore the Tropical Seas section, where there are 25 tanks with species from the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific oceans. Don't miss the Amazonian ecosystem display in the Jungle zone or the exhibition on endangered bluefin tuna. There are also two play areas and a Splash Park that the kids will love.Choose the Silver ticket and you'll have access to the 3D Aquadome – a spectacular cinematic experience that immerses you in the world of humpback whales. The tour was very good. The aquarium was amazing however, the gold ticket was no use for us. With a tall child of 13 the snorkeling was only suitable for smaller kids as the pool is quite small. I also paid for 2 adult tickets and when I got inside discovered the tui rep had given me one adult ticket and one child ticket which is not what I had paid for and despite messaging my tui rep when I got back explaining my issue I have to this point had no response back.

Palma aquarium was absolutely amazing and we had a brilliant day - would 100% recommend. The bus transfer was very long and it would have been better if we had been warned more explicitly about that - 2 hours there and 2.5 hours back with a tired preschooler was too long (we were one of the first pick ups and last drop offs). Buses were very punctual and clean though which was good.

The aquarium was brilliant! However, the transfer from the hotel was too long. It took us 2 hours each way because of multiple pick ups and destinations. The tour guide on the bus didn't explain anything, especially as we were going to drop people off at a different destination first so it made me panic that we were on the wrong bus. If we'd known that the bus ride was going to be so long, we wouldn't have booked it

The aquarium itself is set out well. We had purchased the basic ticket but found we had seen everything within 90 minutes. Therefore we purchased tickets for backstage & the whale 3D aquadome which added another €42 to the €156 already spent on tickets. Even with these, we still had done everything, including lunch, in just over 3 hours. We left the aquarium and headed across the road to the beach which was lovely. The kids did enjoy the aquarium but it is very pricey for the time spent there.

Great day out and really good value. The aquarium offers loads of additional experience that are so cheap. Only down fall was the included lunch was only a burger option which I think could have been stated.

This was advertised to us as a 4-8 hour excursion. We were picked up at 8:05am and dropped off at the aquarium at 10am. We were then told we wouldn't be picked up until 3:30pm and by the time we got back to our hotel it was 5:20pm so a 9 and a half hour day. The aquarium you can easily get around in a couple of hours so this was far too long to be there for. We were all bored by a couple of hours in and found ourselves just sitting waiting to be picked up.

Loved the variety of exhibits and the size of the display areas. Animals were well kept. The signage was poor and map very unclear. Food at Neptune was lovely but incredibly slow to arrive, no sanitiser available around the site was poor. Tui guide wasn't great, irritating and the transfer was horrid, boiling hot bus with a driver who had no idea how to control a clutch!

We had gold deal which was amazing. A bit sad that we couldn’t do 3D cinema as we thought gold encompassed all of silver as well. Also was not told about snorkelling with sting rays which was part of the gold offer. Food/restaurant good, staff friendly. There was a lack of seating throughout the aquarium which was a shame as some of our party needed to sit often. Also very warm throughout indoor areas. Shop was good and reasonable.

Trip was very good and the aquarium is excellent the only downside was the quality of the food which was poor I would have preferred to have eaten in the canteen as there seemed to be more choice I wasn't even given a menu and the desert was 3 tiny ice cream chocolates very disappointing

The time at which the coach is returning to pick up from the aquarium needs to be on the confirmation or customers need to be told when leaving the coach on arrival. We had no idea what time the coach was coming back and it was only by chance we found someone to ask.

Our favourite room was the jungle room as you gave the experience of a different world and showed animals that are different to water creates. This made it feel unique and creative which is why this room was by far our favourite. I loved getting my picture taken with the parrot as well!

Enjoyed the aquarium but then on pick up to which we had to find out a time from another passenger...we was all thrown in confusion as the origanal bus that brought us there was not the one we was all to go home on and the driver was very rude when people were trying to ask him what was going on ,it turned out that he was waiting for 2 other coaches to arrive and then split passengers from there original ride this seemed to get alot of worried they was on the wrong bus back

The aquarium was great and the outside play park was good. When booking I didn’t realise the lunch included in the price was a set meal with no choice, that was disappointing. It was quite an expensive trip. The 3D whale experience was amazing but very short.

There were staff that took our photo on the way in and there was a high pressure sales pitch on the way out, insisting we HAD to show our photo receipt before exiting, even if we didn't want to buy it. Aquarium itself very impressive and clean. Great catering available. We loved the glass bottom boat experience (additional charge)

A wonderful professionally run and maintained aquarium. All fish and mammals cared for and appear happy in large tanks. Plenty of plaques and information if you wanted and so much to see. I definitely recommend a visit. But make sure to take plenty of money for food and drink as can get expensive over the day. The whale experience is worth it but book earlier in the day as gets busy later on.

The aquarium was great but we were really upset my our transfer time. We were picked up at 8:25 and only approx 50mins away so expected a transfer no longer than that from the airport. However we travelled approx an hour in the opposite direction to pick up people for their aquapark experience and then double backed. It was approx a 2.5 hour trip each way! That’s longer than our flight. If we had know this we would never had booked it.

Transfer and activity were excellent. We also got our lunch there as part of the silver package and it was also delicious. Overall great day out for us with our five year old daughter. The aquarium also has lots of activities to entertain children all day long.

The aquarium was a great day trip, particularly the shark tank and the 3D aquadome. The only downside was the time it took to get there via coach, 3 hours from Portopetro (a long journey was expected, but not quite this long!). Thankfully the aquarium was one of the best we've been to, and the soft play for the kids was an added bonus!

The 3D cinema was great. The attractions were of a very high quality. The slight let down was the travel times and quality of the drivers interaction. Arriving at 12.20 and leaving at 16.30 is not enough time to enjoy all the park has to offer. Also I was expecting a guide from Pick up which was stated on the email. This needs to be clearer that it’s just the aquarium staff on entry.

We enjoyed our day trip to Palma Aquarium. Lots to see and lots of information available. Really enjoyed the 3D cinema but we didn't get a proper explanation about selecting the correct language and adjusting the volume, or enough time to get the headset set up. The film was half finished by the time we had the headset done. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Very good value.

The aquarium itself was very impressive and my young daughter really enjoyed herself. The disappointment about the trip was the pickup which was late by at least 30 minutes. This disrupted our evening plans. Everyone catching the coach back was left waiting without explanation. When on the coach we weren't given a reason and just told "that's life".

Over an hour transfer from the hotel to the aquarium, once arrived barely any information was given regarding the aquarium and once inside you are packed like sardines trying to get around and see everything. The food and drinks are massively over priced, it not worth the amount of money paid for a family of 5. Then having to wait over a hour past the pick up time to leave was horrendous with young children. Not a great experience or value for money overall.

It would have been better if the trip had an earlier start. Pick up was at 11:30, though the driver was a little late, so it felt as though we had already lost a good part of the day before we started. Driver had to collect people from other hotels and the journey took an hour and 20 mins). However, once there, the aquarium was a great place to visit and the shark tank and 3D experience is highly recommended. A lovely day out and a change from the beach.

The aquarium itself is excellent and we were all very impressed. The transfer was over 30mins late. We waited over 50mins with 2 small children in over 30degree heat and we’re not sure if we were in the right place, had missed it and had no one to contact. This was very stressful and the bus had very little air con.

The aquarium has lots of things to see and do. Very interactive for children and would highly recommend the PLUS option, which includes cinema and money off food etc. We spent 6 hours there and it flew by. Worth a visit, for sure! Museum staff were also very friendly and helpful.

No reps at the hotel to tell us where to meet the bus. 1 rep on the actual bus thankfully but she was there to take others to a water park and told us there wasn’t an aquarium visit today. There was. We had paid for it. Arrive and all ok. Not enough time at the aquarium as had to rush through gift shop

The aquarium itself was amazing. We had booked what I was led to believe was the Plus experience as the voucher said it was all included but aparently had only payed for the basic option. The guide was very flippant and rude and even swore at some other visitors because she was getting flustered. When we asked about the plus she refused to look into it and sent us it so find other staff members. One of the aquarium directors eventually came to see us and agreed there must of been an error and honoured the plus. Sadly because this took so long to sort we missed the shark boat ride and had to rush the last few areas. Could of maybe had another hour there at least. Back on the bus the Rep was again quite rude and blunt and argumentative. Cannot fault the aquarium

Zeker de moeite om eens te bezoeken! Zeker met jonge kinderen een aanrader! De aqua dome was zeer leuk! Indrukwekkend voor kleine kinderen. Mocht gerust iets langer duren de 3D. Het is wel best een prijzige activiteit! Leuke speeltuin buiten voor de kindjes! We hebben wel 30min moeten wachten (dan afgesproken uur) tot ze ons kwamen ophalen. De gids had zich verontschuldigd en uitgelegd dat blijkbaar de chauffeur ook nog mensen tussendoor naar de luchthaven moest brengen en dit was uitgelopen.

The aquarium is well worth a visit lots to see and good park for kids to play on. Coach trip was fine although a little long picking up from different hotels. Would also say the 4pm pickup time from the aquarium was too much time for what we needed at the aquarium and we did do a bit of hanging about so could do with being an hour less.

Lots to see, very wheelchair friendly! Jungle is amazing and a great photo opportunity in front of the water fall.
We spent 3 hours in there walking around then popped across the road to a beach front restaurant and had food them spent the last couple of hours on the beach. Highly recommended
