What to expect
The tour is the perfect introduction to the heritage and culture of Abu Dhabi.Departing from Dubai, the drive to Abu Dhabi is approximately two hours long, during which you can enjoy the views. The first stop is the majestic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which is the largest mosque in the United Aarab Emirates and the eighth-largest mosque in the world. It is named after Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder and first President of the United Arab Emirates. The mosque is large enough to accommodate 40,000 worshippers and the main prayer hall can welcome up to 9,000 worshippers....

What to remember
The dress code for the Sheikh Zayed Grande Mosque is the following: modest, conservative, loose fitting clothing,long sleeves, long skirts and trousers; no tight and transparent clothes; no short pants for men; no shorts pants for women and skirts must be ankle length; no swimwear and no beachwear; headscarf for ladies is essential
At Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque it is recommended: not to have intimate behavior; i.e: holding hands or kissing is not acceptable in a Muslim place of worship; stay within the areas dedicated to visitors, for safety and respect to worshippers, and not going freely around the mosque
At Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque smoking and food are not allowed; do not to touch the Holy Quran (Holy Book) and other architectural elements inside the main prayer hall
Please supervise your own children. The architecture includes several reflective pools and should be avoided at all times by children
There is a minimum of 2 people per booking
Pick up time is between 08.00am to 09.30am, depending on your hotel location in Dubai. Please call the local operator at least 48 hours before the tour to re-confirm your pick up time, using the contact details provided on your voucher after booking

Eine sehr schöne und informative Tour. Der Tourgide Ahmad war ausgesprochen sympathisch, sehr freundlich und höflich. Er hat uns viel von Land und Leuten sowie von der Kultur erzählt. Hatte auf jede Frage eine Antwort und konnte alles gut erklären. Da einige Gäste wieder zeitig im Hotel sein wollten, haben wir nach dem Besuch der Moschee leider immer nur kurze Stopps gemacht um auf der Rückfahrt nach Dubai nicht in die Rush Hour zu geraten.

After confirmation of pickup time, the driver arrived too early (“because the traffic is bad”) so we had to get ready in a rush. Transport was a small minibus, insufficient aircon and no Wi-Fi. The guide inspected everyone’s clothes and declared mine - a knee length shirt and baggy trousers ‘unfit for a mosque’. Of course, we then had to buy an abaya at 45 dirhams or more. Abu Dhabi has nothing to offer except yet another mall. In short I wouldn’t recommend this tour. Not awful but not great.

Die Ausschreibung „Moschee und Heritage Village“ wurde geboten. Leider war der Ausstellungsteil im Village geschlossen, nur die Verkaufsstände geöffnet. Anschließend ein Mittagessen schlechter Qualität zum Aufpreis von 25,-€ pP, welches 1 h in Anspruch nahm (man wurde gefragt, ob man das möchte aber eine Alternative gab es nicht). Danach direkter Rückweg. Hier bot der Reiseleiter halbherzig weitere Möglichkeiten an, riet aber zur Rückfahrt. Leider bekam man keinen Überblick von Abu Dhabi!

Goede excursie, op tijd opgehaald vanuit het hotel. Goede communicatie qua tijd. Mooie dingen gezien en in een leuk zaakje héérlijk gegeten !! Daarna nog naar Ferari-circuit, daarbinnen rondgelopen, omdat het stil was had de chauffeur dit geregeld !

De moskee is prachtig om te "eens" zien. De trip door Abu Dhabi is redelijk oppervlakkig ook al rijden we langs alle bezienswaardigheden, met enkele stops voor om fotoshots te maken. De terugreis is redelijk lang (+2h)zeker in de namiddag spits.

Super waren die Abu Dhabi Highlights...sehr schlecht fuer uns...unser Hotel befand sich in al jadfa..wir wurden als erstes abgeholt und haben dann alle "anderen" Teilnehmer eingesammelt...wir saßen 7 Stunden für An/ Abreise im Bus, bei ca 4 Stunden Aufenthalt am Zielort.. sehr schlechte Koordination ??

Leuke tour maar weinig tijd en wat ons betreft had de keuze qua bezienswaardigheden anders gekund. Snel door de moskee, geen tijd voor de leuke shops daar. Herritagevillage was leuk maar daarna een uur gedropt in een ongezellige mall om wat te eten. Een demo bij een tapijtverkoper waar niemand op zat te wachten. Verder hadden we een tour in het engels geboekt maar omdat er meer duitsers waren werden we samengevoegd en werd er duits gesproken. Jammer. Een flesje water onderweg had fijn geweest.

Leuk uitstapje met als hoogtepunten de moskee en de Heritage Village. Omdat de reis vanuit Dubai veel tijd kost (voor ons 2,5 uur enkele reis), is er niet veel tijd per bezienswaardigheid. We werden opgehaald in ons hotel om 8:30 en waren om 20:00 terug. De gids was goed, wist veel interessants te vertellen, erg vriendelijk en sprak goed Engels en Duits. De pick-up afspreken via email lukte niet. Het beste bel je ze met je ticketnummer bij de hand (of laat je de receptie van je hotel bellen).

Moskee bezoeken was leuk, chauffeur erg vriendelijk, maar qua city tour niet veel bijzonders en al helemaal het opdringerige unieke 24 karaat kleedjes verkopen voelt erg onprettig. Andere plekken bezocht die het bezoeken niet waard zijn. Vanuit ons geen aanrader. Over de chauffeur niets negatiefs. Erg vriendelijke man.

Tour was zeer de moeite waard. Goede en duidelijke informatie van de gids die de groep goed wist te vermaken.Bezoek aan de moskee perfect, zo ook de andere bezienswaardigheden. Betreft verbetering: Het bezoek aan een tapijtmakerij was veel te lang en voelde erg opdringerig(erg opdringerig m.b.t. verkopen(aanbieden) van tapijten , dit zou ik persoonlijk laten skippen. Op zich een leuke trip alleen hadden we een gids die nogal haast had waardoor we door de moskee gevlogen zijn. Er waren in de moskee ook nog winkeltjes die hebben we helemaal niet gezien geen tijd voor gekregen. En ook waren we ivm de drukte op een gegeven moment de groep kwijt de gids lette niet erg goed op had het te druk met zijn mobiel. Verder wel een leuke activiteit alleen de stop om de kleedjes te gaan kijken vonden we ook vreselijk dat had voor ons niet gehoeven. De rest was ok.

Le voyage c’est bien passé dans son ensemble - j’ai eu un petite problème à mon arrivée qui a été rapidement résolu par le représentant - donc parfait. Par contre j’avais demandé pour la visite de la mosquée et on m’as répondu que il n’y a pas la possibilité - et pour finir je l’avais trouvé par moi même sur le site de TUI .. sinon on a passé des bonnes vacances, merci

+ SEHR informativ, Details der Kultur, Architektur, usw wurden gut erklärt. Fragen wurden sehr gut beantwortet. Guter Service. Guter fahrer/quide. Eine wundervolle Tour. SEHR empfehlenswert - abu dhabi hat strikte corona Regeln der Hinweis das PCR test zwingend erforderlich sind war bei der Buchung selbst nicht zu erkennen. Einige tour-teilnehner waren daher nur eingeschränkt teilnahmefähig. Die Eigenverantwortung bzgl. Der covid regelung sollte in der Beschreibung deutlich(er) gemacht werden

Betere info vooraf voor wat betreft bezoek aan de moskee(kledingvoorschriften). Afstemming ophalen ging niet vlot. Verder leuke trip, veel info. Het eten in de middag na zo een lange dag moest erg haastig gebeuren.
