What to expect

This glass bottom-catamaran cruise along La Palma's west coast takes you to spots that are almost impossible to reach by land. We'll sail into the Bonita Cave and see landmarks along the way. What's more, there's a chance to spot dolphins and catch sight of the recently erupted Cumbre Vieja volcano, too.The fun kicks off when the Fancy II sails from Tazacorte harbour and heads northwards past volcanic cliffs with drops of more than 200 metres. We'll stop at the Bonita Cave – a large grotto with two mouths. Centuries ago, locals would hide here from pirates. The catamaran will sail right into the cave. Next up is Poris de Candelaria, where a few fishermen's huts have been built at the foot of cliffs.We'll keep on sailing, passing the Colorada Cave and Poris de Puntagorda. With luck, we'll spot pods of dolphins and whales, which roam freely in La Palma's Atlantic waters.

Excellent

Meer dan een uur wachten aan ophaalpunt H10 was niet leuk door miscommunicatie van Tui. Maar alles werd goedgemaakt door de mooie unieke ervaring van de oceaantrip. De gids was een jonge wat nonchalante jonge dame met weinig informatie. Op het einde werd er niet echt gevaren voorbij de lavastroom van 3 jaar geleden. De dolfijnen zien was uniek mooi, het weer was zalig. De oceaan was ‘amazing’. Bedankt voor de mooie dag.

De boot vertrok een uur later dan gepland, dat was minder maar goed dat zal toeval zijn geweest? Hele leuke boottocht, ruim 40 km gevaren, leuke dingen gezien, dorpjes in de rotsen en leuke grot. Een hamerhaai gezien, 3 soorten dolfijnen en een walvis. Mooi uitzicht op de verwoesting en de nieuwe vulkaan Tajogaite. Dure trip maar wel geld waard

Regeling can TUI uit was waardeloos. Er gingen drie boten weg op hetzelfde moment, en op mijn ticket stond NIET de naam van de boot. Iedereen moest opzoeken of ik ergens op een lijst stond. Uiteindelijk vond iemand mij op een passagierslijst, maar daar stond wel dat ik met 2 was. Ik ben in m’n eentje op vakantie, dus ook dat sloeg nergens op. Ook was er geen zwem stop, ook al staat dit nadrukkelijk in de beschrijving van de excursie.

Prima geregeld met ophalen bus richting de excursie. Ook na excursie met ophalen bus. Tijdsduur excursie eas tussen 2 en 4 uur, bij ons duurde hij 2 uur en 10 min. Wij kregen ca 5 min. om te zwemmen dat had wat langer gemogen. Verder prima geregeld en veel dolfijnen gezien en een walvis.??

Meneer Cándido die de transfer heeft verzorgd was super in zijn vak: op tijd, netjes, vriendelijk, behulpzaam en heeft tijdens de rit ons veel verteld over het eiland. Super. Ik ben enthousiaster over hem dan over de boottrip zelf. De boottocht zelf was ok. Alleen: geen snacks zoals beschreven stond, de info was minimaal maar wellicht voldoende, en we zijn NIET naar het strand geweest om te zwemmen, terwijl dat wel stond beschreven in de beschrijving van de tocht. . Dus minder gekregen dan omschreven.
