What to expect
Come along on a 60-minute cruise along Manchester's historic Ship Canal and River Irwell. You'll travel on board a purpose build Dutch sightseeing vessel departing from central Manchester. Venture through the industrial heartland of the north of England and see historic monuments such as Stephenson's railway bridge.Get an insight into the history of the area and a unique view of Manchester including Media City, Old Trafford and the disused dry docks.

Know in advance:
The boarding point is at Salford Quays by the Lowry Theatre. The closest parking is at the Quayside Shopping Centre, the closest tram stop is at Media City
All tickets are a round trip only, there are no additional stops on the route
Please ensure you arrive at least 10 minutes before the time stated on your ticket. The cruise will not return to the boarding point once departed
Infants ages 0-1 go for free and do not need to purchase a ticket. They should sit on the parent's knee
Buggies and prams will need to be foldable to be stored beneath the seats
Toilets are available onboard and outside seating is available on a first come first served basis
All sailings are subject to the weather and the levels of the River Irwell

Great trip, just a little difficult to hear the commentary inside with other passengers and children on board, but we had a great time.

Good experience and I’d recommend it. On the return journey the commentary was a little hard to hear - not sure why. Could it be increased in volume (Just slightly)
