Discover Jasper’s wild side. Experience the untamed beauty of Jasper National Park on a guided wildlife tour through some of the park’s most scenic and animal-rich areas. This relaxed, 3 hour, vehicle-based outing is perfect for nature lovers and curious travellers eager to learn more about the animals that call the Rockies home.Led by a knowledgeable local guide, you’ll travel to prime wildlife viewing areas selected based on recent sightings and seasonal activity. Whether it’s early morning or evening — the best times for spotting animals — your guide will do their best to help you catch a glimpse of elk, deer, bighorn sheep, bears, or even moose. Every tour is a little different, with routes and stops adjusted daily to give you the best chance of an encounter.Along the way, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the region’s ecology, animal behaviour, and the challenges of wildlife management in a protected national park. Your guide will share fascinating facts, answer your questions, and help bring the landscape to life with stories and insight.While wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, 95% of the tours successfully find animals — making this one of the most rewarding and memorable ways to experience Jasper’s wild side.

What to remember
Accessibility:
Not recommended for children under 5 years. This tour is geared more towards adults, with educational commentary along the way. Wildlife sightings are frequent but the experience differs significantly from a zoo visit with sightings occurring intermittently during the 3-hour tour and varying from day to day. Based on the tour operator's observations, younger children often become restless

95% of the tours succeed in spotting wildlife. While frequent, sightings cannot be guaranteed due to the natural environment

This is a vehicle-based tour with no walking required
This trip does not include any food breaks. Please eat prior to or after the trip (if needed you can bring a light snack such as granola bar with you)
Travel is on paved roads only and you must remain in the bus when viewing wildlife (Parks Canada regulations)
Although not recommended, children and infants under 5 years old are welcome if a seat is purchased for them at the child rate. All passengers regardless of age must be allocated a seat on the bus
Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
If the minimum of passengers is not reached, the tour will be canceled and you will be offered a refund or reschedule
This tour operates in all weather conditions
The exact tour duration is subject to variations due to traffic conditions
Departure time is in Alberta Mountain time, please adjust your watch accordingly
Remember to bring:
A small bottle of water and your camera
Those travelling with an infant, can bring an infant car seat carrier. Buses have seat belts to strap over the carrier

Die Abholung am vereinbarten Treffpunkt erfolgte zeitgerecht und problemlos. Der Tourführer war sehr nett und kompetent. Man merkte, dass er mit Leib und Seele bei der Sache war. Vom ersten Moment an bis zum Schluss gab er uns interessante Informationen über die Umgebung und die vorhandene Tierwelt. Die Tour war einfach nur schön und ein voller Erfolg. Ich kann die Teilnahme nur empfehlen.
