Zeer geslaagde excursie, alleen van het diner moet je niet te veel verwachten. Gids Victor was zeer welbespraakt en had veel informatie over de omgeving en Portugal in het algemeen. Daarnaast ook nog goede tips voor de foto’s.

Our guide, Ricardo, was friendly, funny and informative. It was great to see the ‘real’ Portugal, away from the hotels and tourist spots. Plenty of stop offs, for drinks, photo opportunities etc. The food the restaurant was good and there was plenty of it. The sunset was stunning from up in the hills, an unforgettable experience.

It’s was our wedding anniversary so we thought we would do this trip ,from start to finish our guide was excellent told us from the start what we was doing to the end he was very friendly,great sense of humour and great company. Spectacular views, we did see the sunset as it was cloudy in places ,drink tasting was good seeing the honey making not forgetting the cork . Our dinner and the restaurant was very good and the wine a good 7 hours evening out.

We didn't and most people didn't like the sparkling wine to toast the sunset. george the driver/guide was an excellent character kept everyone entertained all through the tour. The meal at the end was filling and enjoyable. The views during the tour were astonishing

Een geweldige excursie. Onze gids Ricardo vertelde ons vol overgave en met humor over de omgeving en bezienswaardigheden. Ook vragen tussendoor werden moeiteloos beantwoord. We hadden ook een leuke groep in de Jeep. De natuur was prachtig met een mooie zonsondergang. Zeker een aanrader.

Einzigartig von der Abholung am Hotel bis zum Zurückbringen. Die unglaubliche Weite fernab vom Tourismus... Vito, der deutschsprachige Gide, der uns so viel über das Land und die Leute erzählen konnte, der wunderschöne Sonnenuntergang... es war sehr informativ, abenteuerlich, romantisch und unterhaltsam - einfach unbeschreiblich. Das mega leckere Abendessen hat diesen wunderschönen Ausflug gekonnt abgeschlossen, bevor wir wieder sicher zum Hotel zurück gebracht wurden. Wir kommen wieder!!!

Jeeps waren erg oud. Onder het rijden viel er een stuk uit de achterkant. Chauffeur was prima. Gaf goede uitleg en was grappig. Helaas geen zonsondergang gezien. Was te mistig. Kregen per 2 personen een fles prosecco mee als vergoeding daarvoor. Eten was prima

Le coucher de soleil était magnifique. Le guide très sympathique- proposait des prises de photos avec coucher de soleil. La visite du cultivateur avec dégustation de miel, pollen et alcool très cool. Beaucoup d'explications sur la région (appréciable Le repas au restaurant de qualité moyenne. La conduite du guide laisse à désirer car très dissipé par l'animation qu'il fait dans le véhicule.

We absolutely loved the experience, our tour guide Ricardo was excellent. Made us all feel welcome and become a good group with the others in our car. He gave us a very knowledgeable experience of Portugal and learnt so much from him . The tastings of the family made fire water and Honey was great. The drive to the peak to see the sunset on the Atlantic was superb. Finally the meal was phenomenal all made from local produce. Highly recommend this to everyone

Enthousiaste begeleiding, behulpzaam, vertelden veel, konde vragen goed beantwoorden. Veel gezien, mooie route, regelmatige stops om wat moois te zien. Niet zo een massale excursie, afgesloten met een goede maaltijd. Wij hebben genoten en hebben geen negatieve ervaring of verbeterpunten.

Die Platzierung im Restaurant war nicht perfekt. Wir saßen im kalten, zügigen, ungeheizten Wintergarten. Alle "normalen" Gäste hatten ein warmes Plätzchen im Gastraum. Die Speisen waren geschmacklich sehr gut, nur wäre es schöner, wenn jeder Gast seine eigenen Gerichte/Gänge bekäme. Bewirtung pro Tisch ist immer nicht ganz so zwanglos.

This was very good trip. The guides made sure everyone was included and our guide, George, was a very good. He made sure that all groups were on time to enjoy the sunset. The food and drink at the restaurant was very nice. Would do this again.

Pas d’intérêt d’utiliser un 4*4 pour prendre des routes et autoroutes. Freinage d’urgence deux fois pour éviter des véhicules en règle sur leur voie de circulation. Nous sommes retrouvés assis sur des banquettes arrières inconfortables perpendiculaires à la routes.Aucune visibilité pour observer le paysage. Toutefois,le coucher de soleil est très beau.

George the guide was amazing, such a great sense of humour. Food was great nice way to round off the trip. It’s pretty expensive for what it is though, but I think all of the tours have massively gone up in price. The tour a a drive by of things you don’t get to see the castle up close it’s just from the traffic as your passing through, there was no orange stop it was a drive by of orange trees, we did met George who is brilliant so he made the trip for me LOVE HIM

Het was allemaal erg leuk : interessante voorlichting over bloemen en planten onderweg - een actieve chauffeur - Ricardo- die ons hielp met foto's maken bij de zonsondergang. Ook het diner als afsluiting was erg lekker. We hebben geen minpunten over die excursie, alleen maar pluspunten !!!

De rit was snel en behoorlijk ruw!! De chauffeur liet ons erg veel mooie dingen zien en we hebben wat geleerd over Portugal!! De chauffeur wilde alles voor ons doen dus prima!! Alleen de accommodatie waar we gegeten hebben was minder we zaten onder tl buizen te eten en zodoende was de sfeer minder!!! Voor de rest kun je deze excursie beter niet aan bevelen bij oudere mensen!!!

Notre guide Georges est très sympathique, le couché de soleil magnifique, le circuit en 4x4 très bien mais peut être il manque de choses plus atypique, plus de chemins (peut être à travers les champs d orangers avec une dégustation), le repas du soir excellent.

Super expérience !! Nous avions un guide au top, très sympa et super drôle. Les différents points d'arrêts étaient magnifiques, le coucher de soleil surprenant avec le soleil juste au dessus d'un lit de nuages et nous avons également très bien mangé. À faire sans hésiter !

Excellent all round. My only criticism is at the restaurant. The main pork dish was fabulous but not quite enough. We were promised extra, and they did not have any left. Leaving some with a very small portion. Also, giving us processed cheese is not a good representation of Portuguese cheese. The sunset was amazing , and Ricardo took some fabulous pictures for us. Lovely memories. Ricardo was an excellent tourist guide.

We enjoyed absolutely every second, our guide Ricardo was exceptional, incredibly funny, easy going and knowledgeable, he was entertaining while at the same time being professional, driving incredibly skillfully and safely aswell as enjoying some slight offroady bits. The sunset was gorgeous, provided us with bubbly, took some incredible pictures of me and my girlfriend, it was like we had our own personal photographer. Absolutely loved this excursion! The tour guides ricardo, George and vitor were brilliant, informative and funny! There was great chemistry and banter between them all. The sunset was spectacular really special. Lots of stops at various areas in the mountains followed by a lovely traditional Portuguese dinner in a local restaurant in the mountains. Would highly recommend this trip!!

Very enjoyable trip. Our tour guide, George was very engaging & funny. Really made the trip for us! Very knowledgeable & great at pointing out areas on the tour with some entertaining driving in the hills. Effortlessly switching languages depending on his guests. Stops for photos with some lovely scenery. Beautiful villages and a local restaurant to have diner. Der Guide namens Vitor war sehr humorvoll und hat, auch aufgrund eigenen Erlebens, viele Hintergrundinformationen gegeben. Sein Fahrstil war sehr rasant, aber trotzdem sicher. War ein echtes Erlebnis.

What an amazing trip by Landover up into the hills to eat at an authentic Portuguese restaurant and watch the sunset. The overall experience was enhanced by our fabulous tour guide, Vitor. He was knowledgable, friendly and lots of fun. He told me so much about Portugal. The highlight of our holiday.

Excursie zelf was heel mooi en een aanrader. Wil klacht indienen voor transfer. Zouden om 15.30 opgehaald worden. 15.50 gaan bellen. Zou nog 5-10 minuten duren vanwege drukte op de weg. Om 16.30 weer gaan bellen. Tijdens telefoongesprek kwam de jeep waar we mee opgehaald moesten worden. Ruim 1 uur later zonder iets te laten weten en gelogen over de reden. Stonden niet bij Vila Petra geregistreerd maar bij ander hotel half uur van ons vandaan. Deze fout mag wel iets mee gedaan worden.

Die Tour war klasse und der Guide super! Der einzige kleine Makel für uns (2) war, dass wir zu (8) Leuten im Pick-Up sassen und hinten nicht wirklich viel gesehen haben.

George, the driver was amazing. He was friendly, knowledgeable and really funny. The food at the restaurant was very tasty and the views at the sunset viewing point was just breathtaking

Fantastic trip ,very experienced and knowledgeable driver who made the trip so special only downfall two of the people on our trip did fancy black pork and there was no alternative but other than that brilliant

Unser Quide Vitor war so grandios und lustig und wusste genau was er uns erzählt. Es hat einfach sehr viel Spaß gemacht mit ihm. Auch die kleine Gruppe von Teilnehmern war genau richtig. Einfach nur weiterzuempfehlen!!!!

A very enjoyable road trip into the hills north of the coastal plain . Very engaging guide, great scenery and food. Travelled off road to reach remote villages and reach superb panoramic views. Only downside is that the LandRover Defender is not the most comfortable 4x4 and the rear passenger area is cramped for anyone over 6ft.

A fantastic experience where we met lovely people from different countries, tried delicious local food (with lots of wine!) and took beautiful photographs of a stunning sunset. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very funny and I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting the Algarve as it was the highlight of our holiday.

Absolutely brilliant! Such a lovely and romantic experience for a couple. Our tour guide Georgio was brilliant, he was funny, very informative and really made the experience. The sunset was absolutely beautiful and you even get a bottle of champagne per couple which was a really nice surprise. A brilliant photo opportunity. Would definitely recommend this trip!
