Hop into a comfy 4x4 for a wild ride through the breathtaking Balkan Mountains, where the thrill of crossing the Aheloy River and the beauty of nature come alive. Dimitar, one of our expert local guides, says, 'You'll visit Kozichino village, the perfect place to experience the authentic Bulgarian rural way of life. Kozichino is renowned for its efforts to preserve old crafts, customs, and the traditional Bulgarian architecture of the region.'As you rumble through the Bulgarian landscapes, there'll be a few stops. Imagine the excitement as kids turn into treasure hunters in an ancient oak forest, guided by GPS, while adults harness their inner Robin Hood for some archery. The journey takes a scenic turn at 'Tabite,' offering a panoramic view that screams photo op. Come lunchtime, we'll swing by the timeless village of Kozichino for a cultural feast at an ethnographic complex.Here, in a vibrant courtyard, get a slice of village life, explore a museum packed with local treasures, and snap photos in traditional attire. The owner whips up his signature bio lemonade, served alongside a hearty meal of cabbage salad, grilled kebabchetas, and bread, with a beer and lemonade included. But wait, there's more – the 'Safari' orchestra sets the soundtrack to your meal, followed by an off-road adventure to Gyulovtsa, where a rakia tasting awaits.

Definitely shouldn't be called safari. Was mainly driving on and off road. When driving on the main road, the driver was driving on the wrong side of the road just to hit pot holes to give the off road effects. My son was disappointed with the archery due to not being the real version and the sucker not sticking to the board. He was only given 1 go of the air rifle with a guide who didn't speak any English to help. The view stop off was ok and the food stop off was lovely and the catering staff

We did this trip with a 14 and an 11 yr old and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was easy, and the fun from the drivers was brilliant. We had Peter for a driver and we had great chats and laughs with him. During the trip you see gorgeous views, an insight to Bulgarian lifestyle and a chance to try different things. The games were fun, and the open top jeeps were a great experience.

The whole experience was great. To improve the tour, on the first stop for the games. It could be 3 or 4 different GPS locations so that and the teams are smaller. The toilet facilities on the first stop are not to a standard that is expected , it being a hole in the ground in a hut! These need to be improved or find a toilet stop.

More drinks of water thought out to be available for adults and children coz there wasn’t to see more animals coz there was out three animals like a bird water snake and cows and there was no water fight near the end witch was disappointing so it wasn’t value for money at all and was not happy

The driver was great and fun. The tour was excellent. We really enjoyed the shooting and tug of war. Lunch was authentic and delicious and the tour of the house was fascinating including tasting the home made lemonade and watching the 200 year old wool machinery. We bought honey. It was delicious and the pots it came in were very traditional. We would have liked there to have been a water fight between jeeps as this was the experience we had when we visited a few years ago - great fun.

We anticipated that this trip would take us into the mountain areas to get views that we would not otherwise see, hence the off road driving. However, the off road driving appeared to be off road just for the sake of it. We did stop at two points for views but no explanation of what we were looking at or points of interest. The trip could have been completed easily in a couple of hours but was padded out to make a full day with no gain of local knowledge. Our driver spoke no English.

Det va jätte lämplig utflykt då vi va två familjer med 6 barn mellan 6-15 år, 4 vuxna, alla tyckte det va en bra utflykt. Hade vi åkt vecka 27-28 så hade vi fått se alla solrosor utslagna, det hade varit magiskt, men vi var några veckor för tidiga. Otroligt många solrosfält

Our driver didn’t speak. we asked questions about the areas and he didn’t answer just ignored us. He had no idea where some hotels were for pick up/drop off. Only one tour guide out of 4-5 4x4 vehicles. Who still didn’t tell us about the areas we stopped in. To long at first stop. Coffee and see the surrounding is enough. No need to do a treasure hunt, tug of war or other games. At the start of the day we were asked about food allergies etc. but no GF options. So I didn’t eat.

It was very disappointing and will be telling everyone not to go on that trip the drivers were very miserable and going round fields wasn’t exactly a jeep safari Maybe if they included water guns on the way it would be a lot more fun and bring everybody together

Very enjoyable exhilarating experience. Drivers were experienced and stops were good. Lunch very nice and plenty of it. Nice to have a small group of us in 3 jeeps. Scenery spectacular

Die Stopps waren teilweise zu lange. Im Wald wurde nicht darauf geachtet, dass der Müll wieder vollständig mitgenommen wird. Der Aussichtspunkt war großartig, der letzte Stopp im Shop hingegen völlig unnötig

Jeepen hade trasiga bälten, chauffören förstod inte engelska. Många stopp där chaufförerna pratade högt och hetsigt men vi fick ingen information om vad som hände. Kul med off road och det bulgariska bröllopet!

Off road experience is just what it says , even on a dull day the whole day was filled with plenty to see and join in with I would recommend to anyone who is able to climb in and out of a land rover!
