Gut gefallen hat uns die Reiseführerin. Nette, ältere Dame mit viel ?? für ihre Heimat und Geschichte. Zeitlich war es gut organisiert, dass vor den großen Reisegruppen der Kreuzfahrtschiffen da waren. Nicht gefallen hat uns, dass wir bei einem Preis von 332€ im Bus noch nicht mal ein Wasser bekommen haben. Erst nach der Tour bei der „Verkaufsshow“. Wir wären noch gerne durch das Städtchen und die Umgebung gebummelt, doch dafür wurde keine Zeit eingeplant.

Keine Zeit für den Besuch des Dorfes Olympia. Kaum Informationen über "Land u. Leute". Das Wasser, das am Ende angeboten wurde, stand in der Sonne und war warm Bei den heutigen Kühlungsmöglichkeiten für mich nicht nachvollziehbar.

Es war eigentlich alles ok, nur das mit dem Audiogerät war unpraktisch. Hatte immer wieder Wackelkontakt. Aber im grossen und ganzen sehr eindrücklich .

Zuerst Mal das Resumee: Ein besonderer Ausflug mit einer toller Stimmung in Olympia. Aber der Reihe nach. Zuerst hatten wir uns etwas gewundert dass der Ausflug von Vormittags auf Nachmittags gelegt wurde. Es hat sich aber herausgestellt dass am Vormittag ca. 60 Buse mit Kreuzfahrer ankommen. Die Fahrt nach Olympia war ca. 1Stunde, leider empfing uns die Reiseleiterin erst in Olympia. Und wir waren keine exklusive kleine Gruppe von 15 sondern ca. 25. In Summe aber Tolle Atmosphäre und tolle RL.

Guide Maria war sehr gut. Leider keine Betreuung und Informationen im Bus. Auch Getränke gab es dieses Mal nicht.

Eine interessante Tour mit angenehmer und nicht zu langer Fahrt (1 Stunde). Sehr nette Reiseführerin und sehr interessante Informationen über das antike Olympia. Die negative Bewertung bzgl. der Shops kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Im Gegenteil. Es besteht am Ende noch die Möglichkeit etwas einzukaufen. Aber es wird jedem selbst überlassen ob er von der Möglichkeit Gebrauch macht.

Der Guide war sehr informativ, freundlich. Ich selbst und andere Gäste waren mit den Abläufen nicht sehr zufrieden. Ankommen, Verkaufsläden gefphrt, dann schnell ins Museum etc. Alles gut. Wur hatten krine Zeit eiben Kaffee zu trinken, konnten kein Getränk kaufen. Die meisten hätten noch gerne einen Bummel durch Olympia gemacht. War alles zu hektisch und schnell. Schade. Beim 2.male nehme ich mir ein Auto und besuche es alleine, wäre bestimmt gemütlicher. Lieber diese Tour länger anbieten

Von der Anlage selbst ist leider sehr viel zerstört. Die Idee, die ursprüngliche Form der Gebäude und in kleinen Videos die Athleten zu zeigen, ist sehr gut gelungen. Das Ganze vermittelt ein sehr realistisches Bild, wie es vor 2.500 Jahren ausgesehen hat. Das Highlight schlechthin war unsere Führerin Maria, eine stolze Griechin mit exzellenten Kenntnissen der griechischen Geschichte und Mythologie.

Es war ein großartiger Überblick hinsichtlich der Zeit und des Ortes. Die Zeit und die Infos im Museum waren gut und ausreichend bemessen. Die Besichtigung der Ausgrabungen war zeitlich sehr kurz bemessen bezogen auf die Größe des Ausgrabungsortes. Ich hätte mir ein wenig mehr Zeit vor Ort gewünscht.

Leider wie immer auf solchen Reisen wird ein Shop zum Kaufen angesteuert, der auch noch teurer ist als der Nachbarshop.
Die Reiseleiterin wollte zu viel von Ihrem Wissen vermitteln, was es dann langweilig macht.
